Is anyone else having trouble with this play? It's the one where the back on the left has an angled hook route. It seems like this is nearly impossible to stop, especially when its Adrian Peterson or another elite back.

Specifically, with a little timing and lead pass, you can complete this pass against any zone or man coverage, hitting him in stride before he stops. At least all the one's I've tried which is a lot!. And covering usering it is tough because the people I've played who ...

I have a friend who I play often and he uses the Falcons. It seems like he runs the same plays all the time. He either tosses or pitches it to Turner gaining 5 yards at the minimum or he'll bust a screen or pass it to a WR on either side. I think I have tried everything . . . blitz the hell out of him, man, zone . . . and nothing seems to work. He rarely runs a pass play, and if he does, it is to the side to the WR. Can someone give me some advice on how to setup a good D for this. Any ...

Yes i lab and i go to minicamp drills swating the ball but this dose me no good my defense is getting lit up like a chirstmas tree. I play the base pass defense such as 2manunder also the cover defense sets 2-4 along with the dropzones and the cover3flat and the 9velcro and the 1-5-5 cover 3 and the dime 3-2-6 cover 4.
Im getting killed with all these set ups, before the pressure can get there, and Demarcus Ware is my rusher so he is by all means quick enough, but the little d@mn hb slants, or whatever quick *** routes this guy did, raped it, my outside db was too busy getting blocked to shake off

and how do i defend the run with these defense, cus i had to switch my entire line ups, so when they run, i cant stop using this, and then when i switch plays, I got players in all the wrong places -_-

Post any nano's you got outta the NYJ or any defensive playbook.

I'll Start with a pretty decent one:

3-4 Stack

Hog Buck 3

Simply all you have to do is shift the LB's right, R1 + LS right

Blitz the LOLB (LB on far right) R1 + RS right

Gets good outside pressure vs a shotgun attack while also covering the deep part of the field.

I prefer to user whatever safety is in the yellow zone and roll with the QB to take away a crossing or slant route.

Can also be flipped to rush from ...

I'm no expert on defense, but still can make some nice stops. Most of the game I'm in a 1-5-5 and make due with the plays in there. The few nanos I know arn't in it so I just play without then and get pressure on the qb other ways. I use the NE playbook - people tell me the jets is better but I got used to NE playbook for both sides of the ball so unless there is a significant reason to switch I probably won't.

Anyway what I want to know is for the 1-5-5 do I come out in the 1-5-5 play I ...

I am having trouble defend these 3 plays. 1 play is a strong flood or a wideout option route where the tailback is sent in motion after he is sent on a hotroute streak. He algin himself next to the wideout on the left or right side of the formation. I then put my defense into man coverage trying to defend the play. Then he drops his qb deep then rolls out and throws a strike and hit the tailback for a major gain every time against my defense. 2 play is the hb pass i come out sometimes blitzing ...

I kno most might know this but it helps a lot for people who dont. Every play read the tackles if its run they will fire off the ball real hard and try to get up field and if its pass they step back. I user free safety on D so this helps me a lot so i can come up and fill the gaps if its run.
