| is anyone else excited about this?
I like CoD as much as the next guy, however I've always liked the Halo franchise better. The storyline in Halo is unlike any other first person shooter, and if you know anything about me, you know i'm a Metal Gear diehard which has the best storyline in any videogame ever. But the the story in Halo is incredible, and playing a game in the Halo series NOT as Master Chief has potential to be incredible.
Hopefully Bungie does this game right, and I'm sure they will.

| never really heard of it. looks cool. if madden didnt take up so much of my time maybe i could get into another game lol

| MG doesnt come out for a while i'd assume, i made a post about it in another topic here.

| Yeah, I'd say the games stories have trailed off a bit. Just because there is more of a story too it doesn't necessarily make it a good one.
Halo Trooper is going to be an absolute cash cow. well right, just b/c a game has a great storyline doesnt make it a gem of a game.
but every halo game released (with the exception of halo wars since i never played it outside of the demo) was better than the prior one. sure, this game is a fantastic way for bungie to make a lot of money. they have to figure the people that were fans of the series will be purchasing this game.
but personally i think the halo storyline is awesome.
one thing that has kept me away from CoD is the storyline. | Really, after Halo 1 the franchise sunk for me, I don't know why anyone thinks otherwise, all they did for Halo 2 was add afew guns, a few creeps. Which is fine whatever, but i was expecting the story to all take place on Earth, like 2 bloody missions were on Earth!, everything previews and all, made you think that was the basis of the story, which would of been awesome, but instead they take you back to another fucking ring. Halo 3, same thing another Ring. Nothing was really improved upon other then graphics, I hated the stories, as they progressed and got sick of them going back to fucking halo's lol |

| Ok, just watched the trailer, not too thrilled, not buying this one for the first time. It looks like every other d@mn Halo , except a new guy. |
