Sub Players in other Positions question

I have Vernon Davis in my online franchise. My Question is that as a TE he is 96 but as WR he is 81. Do those ratings truley effect the player? I have been under the impression they did but im wonding if anyone has anything concrete on it.

Also, if i come out in a 4wr set and audible down to a set that puts one of the WR on the line as a TE does he get TE stats or stays WR. I put Davis as my #3 WR so when i audible down he goes into the TE slot so im wondering if the above question is true would go from 81 back to 96?

to be honest with you the overall rating doesn't really, matter you should be looking at their speed, CAT, CIT, SPEC. when i use the niners i usually put V. Davis as my number 1 WR.

And another thing if you audible down and get a WR a TE its a good thing because typically they are being covered by a Linebacker, which can create some favorable mismatches.

Dont worry too much about overall, just worry about how you can utilize your best players to give you the best opportunity to win.
