2 Questions.............DB's and LB's

Guys what ratings would a linebacker would have as far as in speed wise (ACC, SPD) would you consider fast?
and secondly, What ratings you would look for in a DB thats very important to you?

the reason im asking is because madden this year seems like if you dont have the speed, or if your corner isnt revis or aso, or if your LB doesnt have speed then its a lost cause no matter the rating. its crazy because its like an overall 75 DB with 94 speed is more effective than an overall 89 DB with 85 speed.and too me thats ridiculous. and its the same with LB's. I guess what im saying is i like to get quick pressure with my LB core and if not pick at least swat the ball with my DB more often. an its not my defense, i think i play pretty good defense, what good is a high overall DB with mediocre speed if he cant contain the WR? and with the LB's ive brought crazy pressure at the QB, for example jets, high overall LBs, but no speed, i bring pressure and the blitz looks like when SGIBs doing a replay after explaining a blitz off the laser show, SLOW! the QB still have time to throw. its mind boggling! if its not to much to ask can you give me some advice.thanx god bless

I like having LBs with at least 83 speed and mid 80s+ accel

my db's must be 88+ speed and accel, Catching near 70 or above is best for not dropping the ball all day . My LB's around 80 + speed and accel. (Being able to tackle is next important to me for lb's... at least 85 tak)

I think in the real world, you're right. In this year's Madden, if you throw up some high 90's WRs, you will get beat all day unless you have DB's that can keep up with them and LBs that can get to that QB fast (or at least cover those guys).

When you have TE's like Finley & Olson that are mid 80's or better, they will beat an average LB without a problem.

There's an awareness thread around here somewhere and speed seems to be the first thing people look for, then go down the list of position needs.

Agreeing with above - I want LB's with 80+ speed. It also depends on who I'm controlling. I might drop that overall 89 guy with 70x speed in for a CPU controlled guy and hope that his play recognition and other stats will allow him to cover long enough for me to get to the QB with the fastest LB I have.
