 Idea requests for testing ratings

I would like to know what ratings you guys would like me to test?
There are just some ratings I do not believe work.. and if they do work, they don't matter much..

I don't really want any arguments about what ratings work or which don't.. but can you guys give me some ideas on how to test them?

Say I wanted to test route running.. All I would have to do is change 2 WRs to be identical in all ways minus route running.. One WR would have 99 RTE and One WR would have 12 RTE.. [I've already done this test.. It matters. I put two WRs on in routes.. Both off the LOS.. I put the 12 RTE on the left, and the 99 RTE on the right.. they are on the right side of the ball only 3-5 yds away from each other.. Both have the same movement ratings.. The 99 RTE WRs cut was so fast that he actually caught up to the 12 RTE WR.. crazy stuff..]


I'm going to make a BETTER description for each rating to make it easier to pick a team..

I use to not believe that the man coverage rating worked.. I do not believe that zone coverage rating works..


Are there any ratings that have you suspicious?

If so please post your ideas.. I need to know the ratings.. then I need an idea on how to test it.. Awareness is a tough one to test because it can matter for offense or defense.. like Carlos Dunlap has 32 awareness.. yet he makes plays for me.. I just blitz him.. He blitzes.. He does what I tell him to.. If I put him in a yellow zone, I'm sure he would cover the middle.. It's like last year, Jason Williams 87 spd, 35 AWR MLB for the Cowboys was a playmaker despite his 60 OVR..

Just some ideas:
- How strength affects to O-Line and D-Line
- Speed vs. Acceleration
- Play recognition vs. Awareness (MLB vs. basic run plays?)

Im just gonna help out real quick play recognition is more like if there gonna bite on play action as to awareness is like is the ball is near them is it gonna hit them in the face or are they gonna make a play on it

West Coast timing passes relies on the 3,5 and 7 step QB drops. test those.

the problem i have most is with corners if the wr and db are both around the same speed and agility why do receivers get so much seperation is it poor awareness or play recognition thats causing this

Playing with players like Reggie Wayne and Wes Welker makes the route running stat stand out.

I would like to know if throw power has any effect.

In 1 of my online frans I have got Kyle Orton at QB. His throw power is 80 but I haven't really noticed it.

If I had a 99 throw power QB, would it be any different from an 80 throw power QB?

Thats usually Man-to-Man vs. Route Running.

Go offline to practice, and choose the dolphins put pennington in and let marshall or hartline get atleast 40-50 yrds deep on a fly route and put it up there, you'll see the ball curve either left or right before it passes the 30 yard mark

block shedding vs power/finesse moves, awareness for CBs. and question. if you said you dont believe zone rating matters, what attributes are imprtant in order for any CB to have a decent game?

I only look at MCV for actual coverage ratings. I know that MCV ratings work, I've done a test vs. 50 mcv, 70 mcv, 80 mcv, 95 mcv, and 99 mcv CBs.. I picked a play that had a double move in it [it's in Pitt Doubles IIRC..] and the higher your MCV, the less you fell for the double move..

can you check play recongition because in 10 when I used the saints I never usered D sharper because he had like 99 play recongintion and 99 awareness.
