| I just played a ranked game and it went to OT.
THE other guy got the ball first and went down and scored a FIELD GOAL.
I never touched the ball and lost even though he kicked a field goal.
Can i get this clarified because i thought if you kicked a field goal now and your oppent didnt touch the ball in OT i thought i got a chance to score.

| that is only in the playoffs.
regular season games the rules are that in overtime first team to score wins.

| to further clarify, playoff rules for OT are as follows:
If the first team to get the ball scores a touchdown, the game is over.
If the first team to get the ball scores a FG, the other team gets a chance with the ball and has to hit a FG to keep game going or a touchdown to win. If the 2nd team with the ball fails to score then the game is over.

| EA put the playoff OT rules in as the ranked game OT rules though...thats weird |

| yeah i recently won a game in overtime and it had the playoff rules. |
