| is this true? is ed reed shut down at cb? his overall is 90, but he has better catching than MOST wr, his catch is 85, thats crazy.but im trying to figure how is he a glitch, and is this effective? and if so, who are you replacing the FS with? is it foxworth? |

| whats reeds speed??
i usually put him at SS, and foxworth or Webb at FS...
but if he is literally shut down at CB then i might have to check it out |

| When you play man put him at CB
when you play zone move him around at FS and SS in some of your formations. That's what i do with Nmandi, trust me, that sh!t goes hard. The same can be done with Ed Reed. He isn't no where near Nmandi in terms of just overall coverage as a CB, but he's effective. |

| In one of my leagues their have been complaints about D Hester at CB, I wouldnt complain, Ive seen DRC at WR.... so what, that just MHO, I just play |

| lol i want you to put hester on defense...lol
offense+defense+ special teams= he is blowing wind
he will barely be out there and when he is (after halftime) he will drop more balls on offense because he is tired, he wont be able to do as much after the catch (he will slow down some) and he wont be able to chase as many players down on defense (he will be slowed down some)
I can see how reed at cb could be good...kind of how in M09 people put Troy P as a CB for cover 2 defense. he would get a mean bump and he contained the outside as well as anybody |

I dont have Hester I was saying there were complaints because it was done, I just didnt see the big problem with. |

| ok, ok, ok....
Ed Reed at CB is not a glitch. smh! and neither is he "shutdown" perse. he still has his strengths and weaknesses in that spot. however, what make it tempting for cats to put him at the CB spot is his 90 ovr, 93 spd, 82 awr, 97 swg, 85 cth, 99 prc, 95 zcv. good ratings but....
at the FS spot, his ratings are 98 ovr (up eight) and a 97 awr (up +15) wow! i would only move Ed Reed to the SS spot and NEVER at CB. why not? because at the SS spot his ratings are 93 ovr (-5) and a 92 awr (-5) from the FS spot. that is significant to me!
you can put Foxworth at FS cause his ovr of 82 at the CB spot only drops (-2) at the FS spot. plus, his spd of 93 compliments Ed Reed's 93 spd for the Safeties but, Foxworth has a 84 mcv and 89 zcv. again....Reed's zcv is a 95. therefore....he and Foxworth can wreck havoc in the secondary!
drop Wilson (95 spd) and Carr (91 spd) at the #1 and #2 CBs. why? cause they are the best press CBs on the roster....being....74/87 ratings. and with both Foxworth and Reed providing coverage up top...again...a lethal combination....especially if you bring the heat!
plus, you could also use Webb at the FS cause his jmp rating is 93...wow! my boy can go up and get that ball! lol!

to be honest....it really depends on how i am feeling Queen...lol!
but...let's say if i wanna run the 3-4. i may do something like this:
RE - J. Johnson
LE - Ngata
DT - Cody/Gregg
LOLB - Gooden
MLBs - Lewis/Kindle or Ellerbe next to Lewis
ROLB - Suggs
CBs - Wilson/Carr for the press and Foxworth/Carr for better man/zone coverage
FS - Foxworth or Webb
SS - Ed Reed
in the 46, i may role this way:
RE - J. Johnson or Kindle due to his 85 spd
LE - Suggs
DTs - Ngata/Cody
MLB - Gooden over Lewis because of his 86 spd (especially when using the 46 speed package)
CBs - Foxworth/Carr due to their better man/zone coverages
FS - Reed (93 spd)
SS - Wilson (95 spd is hellacious and can't be ignored...lol)
*Note: i would put Washington (98 spd) in the #3 CB spot and use his 98 spd in my Nickle packages. and Carr in the #4 spot to watch over the middle in the speed package. his spd of 91 allows him to keep up with both TEs and HBs.

| yea i helped, i like fabian washington, but sometimesit seems like he gets lost in coverage, maybe its me, if a guys speed is very high, would the man/zone ratings matter? i mean 98 speed? i believe besides DRC, he is the only other with that speed, last year it was witherspoon from jacksonville. but i think he's a free agent, lol. |

NYG signed witherspoon. but he is on practice squad. 
I was happy to hear the giants got some speed. but until he makes the depth chart, OH well. |
