Why does EA sports not have updates throughout the season that updates new plays whenever the roster updates happen? That would keep the game fresh I think instead of seeing the same plays game in, game out at least somewhat

That's too much work, and would require a patch. Microsoft and Sony only allow a certain number of patches per title.

So are generic playbooks in madden 12 or not? nobody has answered that in this thread they have just talked in circles.

i dunno for sure, but prima just has all team playbooks right now to view, not the generic playbooks to view, but there hasn't been any news released that generic playbooks aren't in the game...

i'm guessing generic playbooks are in the game but just not view able on prima
