I put together a couple Playbooks, from Pass Balance and Multiple D (several hours work). I saved everything several times and I checked to see how they functioned offline. Offline, I clicked the settings tab and they both appeared; then I highlighted them and they came up in game. Then, I went to my [u]Online Franchise [/u]clicked Settings and they were no where to be found. I even tried turning off the PS3 and starting over, but no help. I had to play the CPU with out my game plans. I was spending time trying to find plays, which I use to go to fast in 11. Some of my key plays are in other formations or dropped.

I have a big game against a human coming up and I don't feel very confident without my Custom Playbooks.

Any help or ideas would be very helpful. I can go into the playbooks conventionality, but the game plan helps me a lot. Also, can someone tell me how you draw plays from other playbooks and attach them to your own playbook?

not sure about this, but is there a way your commish turned custom playbooks off for the franchise?

again, i know nothing about custom playbooks since i don't use them.

No custom books in online franchise or community games---- EA FAIL

I know for sure the commish did not pull the plug, because he told me so. I'm thinking bahdbwoy is (I'm sorry to say) correct. This is a real blow to me, because it takes to much time to find, my best, plays and I know the formations that they are in, especially on D.

That reminds me; when I take a time out on D I don't get my full time out. I always get cut off about half way through the allotted time.

I think you're also stuck with the default team playbook when you're in practice mode with your online team.

I can practice offline with a custom playbook, but not with my online team. I don't even know how to take my on line team to practice; without starting a new franchise. I had no problem putting together a nice playbook in 11, (without plays from other playbooks of course, but I can't even figure that part out here in 12) and it worked fine online. I am the only one in my leauge that uses a custom playbook and my game has fallen off. I find that I am more predictable and I get more delay of game penalties, because I know where my good plays are and they are the quickest for me to find. I'm getting better, but the game is not as much fun for me.

I hope EA fixes this problem soon or I figure out how to do it soon. Thank You for your interest..........

Yeah, you can use them in ranked, or practice, but not in online communities or franchise mode. There is a patch coming up, but not sure how it will work.
