Because EA has a flawed franchise option online, this past season there wasnt a roster limit requirement for positions and number of players. Season 2 is going to change that. Please make sure you adhere to the following:
Total Roster not to exceed 50 players
Quarterbacks: Minimum 2; Maximum 3
Halfbacks: Minimum 3; Maximum 5
Fullbacks: Minimum 1; Maximum 3
Tight Ends: Minimum 3; Maximum 5
Wide Receivers: Minimum 4; Maximum 6
Tackles: Minimum 3; Maximum 5
Guards: Minimum 3: Maximum 5
Centers: Minimum 1; Maximum 3
Defensive Ends: Minimum 3; Maximum 5
Defensive Tackles: Minimum 3; Maximum 5
Outside Linebackers: Minimum 3; Maximum 6
Inside Linebackers: Minimum 2; Maximum 5
Cornerbacks: Minimum 4; Maximum 7
Strong Safeties: Minimum 1: Maximum 4
Free Safeties: Minimum 1: Maximum 4
Kicker: Minimum 1; Maximum 2
Punter: Minimum 1: Maximum 2
Also, after the rookie draft we are going to have a 1 round draft based on last season records for the available free agents AFTER you adhere to the roster requirements above. After the 1 round draft free agents will be able to be picked up at will.
There will be punishments and autocuts if you do not adhere to the roster and free agency rules above.
