D/C Glitch

I was beating my opponent 24-7 before halftime and he clicked start and kept undo-ing and he does this a couple times and then I'd just click resume game and we would play but, one time he did it my game froze and I got the loss ? Has this happened to anyone and is there anyway to stop it from happening?

I have had a few people try it against me on PS3. The best way to counter it is to be patient. Anytime your opponent pauses the game when it is a blowout, automatically assume that they are going to try and glitch you. Just wait, wait, wait until they realize you know how to counter it and they will probably quit. I also had my first experience with the 0:00 glitch. Thanks to the MB community I knew to select "Quit and count game" instead of " Continue vs. CPU."

Press the start button instead of pressing the X button to Resume Game

Let him do it, you just have to wait him out.. They will stop eventually

Yea, when you click resume game thats what freezes it.. You have to wait until they stop doing it, they eventually will realize your not falling for it and stop

I had one person try for about 5 minutes. Then he sent me a message saying, "Come on let's play!" Haha, it was sum funny sh!t

I hate people that do this, I got at least 5-8 losses from people doing this to me!

no pressing start is the counter. you dont have to wait. just make a habit of pressing start and you will never have this happen again. you can press start no matter what there doing and it will not hang up

yup when anyone pauses get in the habit of pressing start! you can press this whenever no matter how many times the sore coward loser is trying to dc you....simply press start and watch them get even more angry when that cant even dq glitch you right. Also when the clock hits 0 and kids pull the cord just click quit and count game and you will also still get the win.
