I dont know if there are any people out there that run with da bears, but i am a huge bears fan and am very excited to see juluis peppers and chester taylor now on my bears for next years madden...Forte is good, but no speed, now we have a homerun hitter in chester taylor...

Any thoughts on madden teams you will be excited to play with next year? I know its earlier and the draft has not even started, but i am estatic as a bears fan!!!

lol! they have ALWAYS been nasty to us Ravens users....lol!

seriously though, we are just getting started with the signing of Stallworth and Boldin. now, we need to draft a young buc at the WR spot and a TE to backup Todd Heap. we still have our 1st, 2nd and 5th round picks to make some major moves on the defensive side of the ball as well. Ozzie Newsome is the man for our organization and he always has a way of drafting or signing the players that fit the Ravens best.

so, just like every year (whether most considered their offense garbage or not) in madden11....i will be running my Baltimore Ravens baby! also known as the; "DIRTY BLACK-BIRDS" (my personal nickname for them....lol)

P.S. i just hope that we don't get a whole lot of cats bandwagoning all of a sudden....lol!

I wouldn't say the Ravens got any nastier because they still last a good reliable RC WR ='/ the defense is great though.

Anyone know how good Justin Bannan is? We just signed him from the Ravens.. heard he was a high-motor guy.
[He won't matter on Madden, but I hope he makes an impact IRL..]

Sure you CAN, but he's not a overly effective RC wr. At barely 6'1" what Boldin is to me is maybe the best possession wr in madden with his 99 CIT and I'm not even sure it's 99 anymore I think its' more likely to be 97 but anyway that is comparing apples with apples so that doesn't matter I guess 99, 97 he's cluch no doubt and maybe my favorite NFL wr but he's NOT a dominant madden wr. Like I said if the Ravens had signed Brandon Marshall they would be the early odds on favorite to be the best team in madden 11 but as it stands the Ravens got the best fit for their team real life and they got a very good but not great wr madden wise. Boldin for the Ravens in madden = a faster Mason with better speed and that's about it imo.....

side note what up Gibs thoughts on Cromortie signing with the Jets??!!! You thinkin' of usin' the J-E-T-S now maybe next season?

Wang...2 things:

1st....you are talking madden. in real life....my Ravens have just made MAJOR upgrades in the passing game. we already signed Dontae Stallworth (remember him?) and now Anquain Boldin. we may resign Mason if not, there is a possibility that we are going after Kevin Walter of the Texans. not sure. plus, we still have our 1st, 2nd and 5th rd picks to further improve the WR and TE spots. plus, in the latter rds....we can still address the defensive needs. overall, my Ravens are looking great! Ozzie Newsome is a awesome GM and always sign or draft players who best fit our organization.

2nd.....Bannan will work well in Denver.

Saints....you are correct! i wanted Brandon Marshall to be a Raven badly. there may still be that possiblity, but not likely. in real life....as you said.....my Ravens signed the BEST player (Boldin) that fits our style of play. Boldin is a good quality receiver and along with Dontae Stallworth, Mason (if resigned), Clayton or a WR and TE draft pic....the Ravens offense will definately be making noise this upcoming season. on madden? we will just have some wonderful targets to move the ball in the air but not anything spectacular w/all the RCing. so, real life vs madden? hmmm. "i'll take the Ravens winning the Superbowl in real life over being able to RC in madden11 for $2,000 Alex!" lol!

RC'ing is great & a nice weapon to have but you can not base your whole offensive scheme around it. But I agree with Mili on the fact that as far as real life football goes we definately have a legitimate shot at a serious run for the SB with acquisition of Q & Stalllworth & not to mention 1st,2nd,& fifth rd picks.
P.s, I can RC with Heap, Washington, & Williams effectively enough.

Shhhhh.....these cats are 6'2, 6'3 and 6'5 but no one expects the RC w/the Ravens...it's a surprise! lol!

I am not going to argue with you guys because you are entitled to your own opinions. However, I do disagree. I will take a 6'1" guy that catches everything over a tall receiver that drops the ball when you breathe on him. Ramses Barden is a good example. He is HUGE but drops the ball almost every time that he is hit when you try and RC with him.

ATL signs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wait for it....wait for it......... DUNTA ROBINSON (Texans)

he will step in and be either my #1 or #2 CB (I have to see the ratings nxt year)

he has 93 speed (tied for 2nd on the team)
87 man coverage (the best on the team)
80 zone (tied for 2nd on the team)
86 press (tied for best on team)

with him alone he makes ATL deep at CB (madden wise)

now I can have T. Hill (97 spd) and C. Houston(93 spd) at #3 and #4 CB as I do now....can you say NB Blitz.....

And Brent Grimes will get a big boost frm EA next year at CB (he better)

this is a huge signing for me.....I cant hold it in

the ravens will have a beast madden offense....even if they only got Stallworth you could let him tear up the defense by running shollow routes racking up caray yards after catch.... But now with Boldin he han be that shollow to mid WR that eats up YAC....and you can do whatever u want with Stallworth....

I can remember a game whre Boldin broke crazy tackles....he is a headach.....even without the RC...Which you never knw it mite not be in the game next year

Yes there are tall wr's in madden that are trash but that wasn't the topic and who wouldn't take a guy that catches everything over a guy that drops everything? My only point is that height is just as important as CIT/CTH for strickly RC purposes. A madden wr has to be able to jump up and grab that ball out of the air when RCing and guys under 6'3 just aren't capable of that consistently. Honestly there are a LOT of factors. I have noticed Dallas Clark for example and some other TE's with high ratings have the CIT/CTH and the height but not the agility to turn around on a dime when you control them so THAT is another factor. I'd say Height then CIT then CTH in that order and then you have to take things like agility/jump etc. into consideration. If Sproles for example had 99CIT and 99CTH it wouldn't matter for RC purposes would it? Unless he had an 87'' vertical. On a side note I don't know how many times I've sailed a ball over Sproles' head that wasn't even a bullet, so frustrating lol.

no one is knocking your for using your favorite team Ruthless. everyone that knows me know that my favorite squad is..the Ravens. i solely run them online irregardless of their lack of O at times. the game is more fun to me when i run them. i have played it using other teams and it was okay. i am not a tournie player so playing the more "elite" teams of the game is not important to me. i never like playing games when both cats use the same team like.....the Cowboys vs the Cowboys or Patriots vs Patriots or Chargers vs Charges cause they just want a win. tournie players do that type of stuff i believe. lol! just give me the Ravens baby and it's on! lol!

maaaaaaannnnnnn! that is some serious RCing there Ruthless! lol!

i definately feel you on beating cats with your favorite squad that is not an "elite" team per se. a couple of days back, i caught a lvl 24 cat sleeping on my Ravens. he was running the Eagles and my "Dirty Black-Birds" tightened that @%& up for him out of the 4-6 playbook. then earlier today though.....i got smacked by a lvl 13 who was also running the Eagles.....lololololololol!

im gonna be really torn too run either the bears or ravens. they are by far my two favorite teams with the bears slightly having the edge just because of where i grew up. but i love what both teams represent as a franchise (great defense and really strong run game) those things might not have held true last year for the bears but throughout the years it has been their style, which is my favorite type of style. and now that both of them are gonna have some crazy weapons at receiver im gonna love madden 11, bears i find unusable just because they made cutler so awful which im hoping so bad that they will make him good next year.

right now im a heavy ravens user i just love them so much i come out with rice mcclain heap washington and mason every time which means i have two great RC targets in washington and heap(although heap tends to drop a lot of RCs) and i absolutely love mcclain and rice outa the backfield and on run plays. i feel like with this setup no matter what i audible too i will always have pretty crazy solid run blocking as well. with boldin in the mix this will just be intense, for those of you saying hes not a great RC target, i have been RCing with the Ravens almost all year and im sure he will make that twice as easy too do for me.

im sure i will probably lean towards the bears next year though if we do end up signing sharper, and making some good o line adjustments...
