If NFL goes into lockdown...wat will happen to Madden 11?

Isnt there 1 more year???? If so madden 11 will be fine. Madden 12 is the question

But I see 12 coming out (too much money lost if it doesnt) regardless what happens with the NFL

Madden 11 will come out. Madden 12... not sure.. 2012 is the year of the strikeout.

NFL wants to lock the players out. The players will cave in. Owners have deep pockets! Or maybe we can have madden 12 with replacement players!( scabs ) lol

There will still be a Madden, but just with no updated rosters.

EA will update the rosters...there would just be no rating upgrade/downgrade based on how they play

can someone explain a lockout to me, does this mean.... no football during football season....., i dont even want to consider such a thing

Yep.. there's more than likely not going to be football for the season after this season coming up.. so two years from now..

The NFLPlayers Association and the team Owners have to agree on a new CBA.. aka Collective Bargaining agreement.. which I believe has to do with team revenue sharing

They will agree... I dnt even worry bout it.

These type of thins always start out as both side demanding dumb a$$ $hit..... then as time goes bye they start to get resonable (the stage were in now)...And then when the clock starts to really tick they get closer and closer to that sweet spot....

so no worries

off topic reaaly but why is madden always +1 yr from the nfl yr?.. the saints are the 2009 super bowl champs but we are in madden 10

Saints won the 2010 superbowl. Steelers won the 2009

These are all great questions. I think Madden 12 will come out but with no player names/pictures. The team names are property of the NFL but if there is no CBA I don't think the NFL can use the Player Association which is the players names/pics.

Part of me can’t wait to see what will happen, the other part of me is just SICK.
