Any Punts Blocked?

is it me or have no punts been blocked this year on NCAA or Madden 10?

I cannot recall seeing a punt blocked

I have not blocked a punt and neither has my punts been blocked

just saying to me that totally eliminates one of the most exciting plays in all of football although rare but it should occasionally happen from time to time instead of never

anyone block a punt or had theirs blocked barring messing up on the sticks with the right analog?

if so had did it happen?

I would love to block someone's punt but the way you guys might have done it might have been a glitch lol

I don't use glitches lol

i've done it, they have to be at their own 1 yard line and you call punt block.


honestly if you could normally block them then that would be way to exploitable, too easy for top level players to figure it out. i'm glad they aren't really possible

im glad too, if punts were able to be blocked everyone would have to go for it on 4th down and that would change the game

I'v blocked one in about 500 ranked games and 200 lg games.

I blocked a punt in a game the other day because my opponent didn't use Max Protect Punt in the endzone.

A few months ago, my punt was blocked because I didn't call max protect punt in the endzone either.. I was embarrassed LOL..

There are ways to block punts.. You have to turbo blitz. I think I practiced it using Sting Pinch Zone... It was a LONG time ago, before I started playing tournament rules.. I was using NYJ D at the time too.. weird stuff..

one when my opponent was on the goal line. if i'm ever on the goal line i just call a fake cuz i know the other guy is gonna call punt block. works every time

what if your in max protect,
they can still block your kick?

Well, they just call punt block.. they don't have to move anyone.. the CPU blocks it.. so it's not like it's a glitch.. It makes sense.. you shouldn't be able to be unblockable in the endzone.


So yeah; Usually you won't be blocked.. it can be really close, but usually you'll get the punt off..
