to be honest i think its terrible how they are banning stuff like the qb spy manual rush.i mean why bail people out?instead of actually labbing and coming up with a solution against it because it can be countered but no they go the easy route and ban it.i think this tactic would help some of the less talented players keep up with the madden pros and etc.idk the way i feel is you should have to put in the work and effort in this game to be good and labbing against tactics like these and finding ways to dot the d and adjusting is a part of being a good madden player.feedback??

You can block it. Takes some creativty to block it but...if there's a counter to any tactic..it SHOULD not be banned

I agree also - much better to spend time trying to counter something than crying about it. But I am still disappointed in EA's quality practices to allow such a silly AI defect into the final product. I would not be surprised if they patch it.

I have figured out a full proof way to have the blockers register him as a blitzer and actually block him.

It's honestly terrible that QB Spy rush is even in the game.. Pretty dumb of EA..

i mean yeah its bad that it slipped past the game testers but in all reality dont ban it.its in the game till its patched i just think we need to deal with it and its crazy how theres finally d in madden and now its getting banned

You don't think it's stupid to have a QB spy be able to blitz & be untouched because the OL doesn't recognize him? I think it should be banned, but it's not because it's effective.. it's because it doesn't make sense..

Yeah, I know what you mean by we should be able to stop it ourselves, but if that's the only way to play D in M11, the game developers have failed.

RCs are possible IRL.. It actually makes sense, but how the CBs act when the ball is in the air on a RC doesn't make sense..

What do you guys mean by being "banned"? You mean like in tourneys etc.? There really is no way to "ban" it that I know of except maybe a league might ban it with their rules or a tourney might ban it but for regular online play, we just have to adjust to it.

yes there really is no d or heat in madden 11 that has been found.i want to see someone send heat at me without that play and watch them get dotted up.but if you want to be realistic there is no such thing as nanos.and thats the main way to play against top compettion so i guess the game developers have failed?

Yeah, leagues/tournaments/franchises. I don't know exactly what leagues or tournaments are banning it though..

They should fix defense instead of having people ban QB Spy blitzes.. Run D is difficult.. Zone Coverage is "lazy".. Man Coverage will have at least 1 player open.. especially using slants/drags vs man..

i don't really care about the spy blitz, its fair for both sides, both users can use it. you still have to be the better player to win the game. the only reason i think it should be banned or patched is because it is a glitch.

If your defense revolves around the spy blitz thats pretty pathetic...

Not sure what you mean by that.. QB Spy Blitz doesn't even require a setup... You can just slide DL right in Dime.. Put right DE on a Spy; Go to the edge of the line, and blitz at snap.

There is some crazy *** defense that doesn't require the QB spy in Madden. Trust me on that. This patch is going to open the world to much much worse stuff than one free runner.

Defense is fine in 11. If you all stop trying to climb ladders and play people unkraned is All Madden matches you'll see the difference. all-Pro or All madden. Defense is fine for me never use a QB spy blitz either

I agree and........ Gibs, are you saying that the qb spyblitz shouldn't be removed in the patch, but that people should waste their time trying to find a way to stop something that shouldn't be happening, Thank god that there are a lot of people who don't know or don't use the Qb spy blitz, or I would have given up on online play
