| Anyone using this book? I'm going to have a small scheme coming out this week. I will be utilizing Gun Trio the most. Gun Y-Trips Wk Gun Trio Gun Snugs Gun Bunch Wk Gun Empty Steeler Strong Close Weak Flex Twins I didn't check any singleback formations.. I'll be reviewing those tomorrow. The possibilities from Trio are infinite. You can beat man, man press, and zone with several setups from it. I will possibly have two audibles from Trio because the Quick Audibles suck.. Gun Trips from DEN/NE have better quick audibles, but this has better plays overall. Bunch Wk will have fades/10 yd outs as bail out routes to RC. There's a blue route in Bunch Wk which I'll use to beat man coverage. It's called Steelers Cross. [I'll definitely have other setups for it.] Empty Steeler will have one or two plays only. Just very quick passes vs. zone coverage. Strong Close will have the basic runs from it.. no off-tackle There is a Weak run that I'll probably flip a lot. Weak Flex Twins has two Weak Tosses with the exact same name.. One is from Weak Flex Twins Close [Hidden formation], the other is Weak Flex Twins. Y-Trips Wk will have a flat pass vs Cover 3.. I'll give you the way to read if it is Cov 3. There's also a play from it that will beat man because the defender runs the exact opposite way of the route for some reason.. I'll have a few plays from Gun Snugs.. I haven't figured it out yet, but the things that I have found are a spot route that beats man easily for some reason. Another play uses the horizontal passing concept that sgibs went over in a Mad Den TV episode. The play takes advantage of a flat zone. Trio will have a lot of easy read plays.. Several RC plays.. Most of the plays are vs. zone, but I have a couple ways to beat man / man press. Anyone have some more plays or tips for this book? I want to add as much to this scheme as possible. I'll be posting it in the free Madden Bible scheme's subforum for everyone. By the way, everything I wrote about today was from 2 hours of labbing just now. I just finished & I'm going to bed.. I had to force myself off because of how many things I could do with Trio. No, I'm not trying to hype this scheme either. It won't be as good as ZAN's scheme.. It will be good though

| Sounds good... Maybe put in the strategy who/what kind of receiver should be the inside/middle/outside wr... If it matters at all for your particular scheme? | |

| I'm not a real college football fan, but because my father's side of the family used to live in Denver then moved to Boise.. I have a tie to both Broncos lol.
I'm a Denver Bronco fan & If a BSU game is on, I'll watch.
Also, if you provide a play or tip to this scheme, I'll include your name in it.

| I used this book last year and continued this year.. I love it!!! The best formation by far is Gun Trio. I can use this scheme everyplay and just make adjustments weather its man or zone. I also use guns wk bunch, weak twins, i form, singleback pitt doubles, singleback bunch. I run with the bears and have only lost 3 legit ranked games so far. like 23-5 something like that. I know ranked doesnt mean much but its good practice bc you cant quit unranked games anymore Hit me up if you want some plays and schemes | |

| Bump Does anyone have anything to add to this book? or at least some of the formations from this book? I don't have much when it comes to Gun Snugs.. If it was Flip I would, but sadly it isn't I have Trio figured out so far lol. Figured out = 10 plays. | |

| This scheme is really nice. I've got it down to a science but you don't have to be that smart to run it.. as UserPick101 is running it so you know jk I'm probably putting this in the Madden Bible Wiki.. look for it there.. or some where else. | |

| yea man i ran with trio/pitt for like the last 5 mnths of madden 10, what an awesome book it was last year. In your opinion do you think trio is as good or better then last year? That wr screen combined with the deep forks/ rb slants/ etc was so dominant. I will have to try it out (I havent been playing as much yet and using az o when i do) but wang do you think the wr screen is as good last year? thx | |

| I definitely don't think it is as good as last year.. I remember getting beat by it a lot last year.. but it's not just that formation.. it's all screens.. WR screens just aren't as effect..I kinda like it like that.. It was crazy.. one screen play vs. zone would be a TD..
It doesnt have the Deep Fork like play from New England's book.. where the outside left WR is on a post, and the inside right WR is on a fork.. but the PA Slot Corner is a formation audible, & it works almost exactly the same.. it has the middle WR on a post, then the right WR on a corner..
It's definitely an underrated formation.. The great thing about it is that there are quick throws to the TE.. you have the option of going max protect with 7 blockers.. You can also motion your RB out and back on every play to read man or zone.. It's a real nice formation. There are other formations you should definitely check out though.. The run game is actually great.. but that's if you know what you are doing.. listen to gibs run theory for 2 minutes & you will have a better run game..
Btw.. Trio is mainly my formation vs. zone.. I have a few man beaters from it, but the 3 WR alignment makes it very easy to flood zones..
