Are we going to be seeing a Cowboys D depth chart here Z? Because this is an odd formation, help would be appreciated it. I've never ran a 4-6. So Imma try it out.

im stoked for this book hopefully some of my nickel stuff from NYJ will be compatible, for all those on the WIKI check out the NYJ defense section, there is some pretty good heat in there! now im torn on staying with NYJ or making the switch to the 46, if the D book is anything like the O book then my question is already answered 46 ITTTTTT!!!

unfortunately 'king blitz' is not in the 46 playbook

^ wandeezy, i feel ya man thats like my lil baby lol, what did you thing of it BTW? if you liked the zone version be sure to lab the over storm brave man version. i cant wait to get into the lab with this 46 book hopefully it will be released b4 i gotta pack it in for the night.. early to work in the morn.

I love the blitz, it is well thought out and a very good defense. I havent tried the man version yet but I am goin to check it out tonight.

The 46 is a very good formation this year and I think you will really like it. When I first switched I didnt really know what I was supposed to be doing with it but I quickly learned how versatile it is. It stops the run very well and the 46 speed package is a great pass defense, its like a quarters set or dollar but with 4 down lineman and you can really blitz any gap at any given time. If you wanna lab it a little I would be happy to do so, I have been using it all year except for maybe week and I think I have a strong grasp on it now.

Its kind of like a bend but dont break kind of D and I just study what they are doing and play coverage D and then send a blitz and get a quick turnover. Very opportunistic and simple. I put a very easy cover 3 setup in the wiki under the Dallas Cowboys thread that I use for certain situations.

thanks bro glad you like the blitz! ill check out your wiki on the 46 im ready to learn. i do use the 46 normal in the NYJ book w/ the speed package i agree VERY good run D. so much so that it almost makes the offense one dimensional. i toyed with the 46 book a lil bit in 10' had some good success but was more comfortable with the NYJ book and felt it just had more options for me that i ran with no fear. honestly im scared of the 46 book, i used it at the start of 11 and just got smoked thru the air. this time around im going to make a honest effort and really get into this book. plus it offers the 4-3 and im really doing great stuff lately bringing heat from 4 man fronts, hopefully ill find some stuff from the 4-3 that will be as effective as the nickel stuff i got
