ATL Singleback Bunch Flanker Drive Empty
PostSubject: ATL Singleback Bunch Flanker Drive   ATL Singleback Bunch Flanker Drive EmptyWed Oct 06, 2010 9:35 pm

First off for my first post I thought I would help as much as I could.

Play: Singleback Bunch Flanker Drive (Flipped)

The reason run this play flipped is because many people have got into the habit of running NO ASSIGNMENT blitz when people run undercenter. This makes the "no assignment" not work any more.

Setup: It works the same against man and zone.

Put X your single reciever on a slant out. Put A on a streak. (optional Block your running back)

Against man you WILL gain large amounts of yardage.

Reads Vs Man

Quick pass to the "vertical" y route for some reason the cornerbacks get confused and your y route is usually left open

your second read would be you B route over the middle

And your last read would be your Slan out "so Glitchy this year" (pass lead up and wait untill he makes his move up field

Against Zone

Look for your drag

your second read would be your "vertical" y route (let this route develop to the sideline)

and last would be your slant out as I said before these are the best routes in the game.

Final thoughts and suggestions: come out in a 4 wide formation and audible down to this play.you want to try and get your fastest reciever on the inside of the bunch and your tall guy on the opposite side of the bunch. I hope this play helped and if you need and Offensive tips let me know.

**Please Post your feed back on this play.

Haha you are on to something here.. You got me a little nervous Smile I use this play but from Gun Bunch Wk.. They are slightly different though.. The inside WR in this formation does a wheel as it looks like.. and in SG the inside WR does a little Stick route.. I take advantage of this same concept vs. man.. For some reason the defenders get confused on who to cover.. well if you did this same setup in man with the Gun version of this play, you would find a devastating 15 yd play Razz

if you audible into it from a 4 wide formation ITS A TOUCHDOWN if you have a fast guy there

Hey, nice write up. I like the tip of flipping it and I have not tried changing the A WR to a streak. I noticed this is not really one of your reads either so does changing it to a streak help keep that vertical route open on the sideline? I would guess so. I will check it out. I really liked this play before and use it quite a lot. One negative I have found is that since the B WR starts off kind of delayed, if he gets bumped as well you could wait awhile before he gets open and possible get sacked. Still a very strong play though

Gibs could use that tip for his GOTWs....

forgot to mention a lol it was late when i was doing the write up he should def be a read for a usercatch against zone and a lob if open against man and @ bakagaijin another setup is motioning the drag route over who is open against zone (not cover 2) and is definatley open against man. GUYS this play is in many playbooks check it out! thanks for the feedback

lol wang i know the play its $$$ your right tho i just looked at the playart for both and the only diff is the wheel and the stick rte which can be thrown to in the same way. i actually like the stick better because it will pull a defender down to cov him and if he does that then the streak/drag will be working for you , if the def vacates stick it too him!
