Need help with a run D from 46

Been using inside blitz but it's just not that effective anymore for me.. anybody have an elite run d from 46 they wouldn't mind sharing??

gap control!!!(megatron) check out zone stretch, blitz strongside LB in the B gap, spy backside LB in other B Gap, user the FS and make a play


check out mega's 46 scheme there is some good stuff and it is explained pretty well


the key to run D is stopping the explosive outside runs, like in real football you are taught to keep outside contain @ all costs. thats why LB and possibly safetys have the most tackles on a team, everything is funneled back inside! just adjust to what they are doing.

Best Run D is the one JayNizz came up with a few months ago. It's the best that I've seen.. There's another that's gonna be popular soon.. it annoys the sh!t out of me.. [the one where they contain LBs & the OL ignore the LBs rushing in on contains..]


Works with any 4 DL formation.

1. Pinch DL
2. Spy both DTs
3. Make sure your MLB is NOT blitzing [So put him in any zone.]
4. Stand about 1 yd back, between both DTs
5. Rush in & go towards the run


If there is a pulling guard, you may need to avoid him.. I've actually gone in behind the pulling guard and tackled the RB several times..

Ive seen this defense and Im sucessful running against it...this is just another flawed/cheesy way to beat the game, but it still has its own weakness

my defense is the best...Im sorry but this is a shitty defense...atleast my defense has somewhat decent coverage and pressure.. If you play a man *** d, something will be open eventually..

You don't even know what pressure/coverage there is on this play because I DIDN'T DESCRIBE ANY. LOL..
It's best used with any man coverage D because man coverage defenders attack the run, they don't drop back in zones until the hand off.. [46 - Cover 1 is good.. You can use it in Cover 3 like Jetere suggests..]

What does man *** D have to do with anything? If I play a man *** D? I'm guessing you are thinking if they pass on me? I have everyone in man coverage.. I'm usering a LB, I would rush in from the edge to force the QB one way & wait for mistakes..

Of course you would think your own plays are good, everyone thinks their own is the best.. but there's a difference between the people that boast about how good their plays are and the people that just play the game and try to help other people. This isn't even my setup, but I believe it's the best run D in the game as of now.

I don't think you usually tell other people that the plays they post are "shitty." It seems like you are taking your hatred of me from another thread.

I even tryied made a post bout this run d with spys....Its not worth using and not the best...I have had others say my run d works quite well..so im not really boastin

there isnt any pressure with your play if theres a pass (just in case) Man coverage is not like unbeatable even with the raiders vs a slow team like buccs...and flat to the rb or fb will be open quick especially if they audible down from snugs or somethin cheesy
