Madden Superstitions

Hey all - an off the wall topic but I was curious to know if you any of you have any Madden Superstitions. You know, little rituals you do because you think it might help your game. I have a few:

- This one began with Madden 10. Before the game starts when you can select your uniform and you know how it has the guy that sort of models the uniform? Well, I like to swing him around right as he does that double hamstring stretch to basically moon my opponent and say "hey - kiss my *** you piece of crap if you think you are going to beat me!!!" Sometimes I throw in a couple of f-bombs there too. See my previous post on swearing.

- I have never lost a game when I have been the home team and I select the the alternate blue pants (Bears). I also believe I have always managed to return a kick-off for a TD every time I select the blue pants

- If I am struggling and losing lots of games or just not doing as well as I think I should, I will play an entire game using only Madden's suggestions on both defense and offense. I will often lose that game but I have found I gain favor with the Madden gods and the next games I do better.

Zfarls- Bites his shirt when he plays

Sgibs- I constantly look away after every play...ususllay with a disgusted look.

Brian- usually i dont evne know what he does actually. haha

Maybe I should bite my shirt - then I wouldn't scare the dog so much with my swearing!

haha, yep... whenever ZFarls plays he puts the neck of his shirt in his mouth, its hilarious.


i cant really think of any superstitions per say... im not that much of a superstitious person...


but a bad habit i have is cruising the internet while i play... like this message has been written over the course of several plays haha

I unfortunately do that too. I'm doing it right now actually.

How can you guys do that? I can't even listen to someone talking to me while I play let alone type and look at stuff on the internet. Do you just do it between plays or something?
