Any UFC/MMA fans in here? UFC 125: RESOLUTION

I promise this will be my last post for a while, because like many I too get bothered when I go to a forum and one person has made the past reply in every single post.

But UFC 125: Resolution is this Saturday, there is another UFC card in the middle of January, and Strikeforce is putting on a two title show later in January.

First and foremost, UFC 125.

Anyone have predictions?

Here are my Main Card predictions:
Guida over Gomi by decision
Diaz over Kim by KO in the 2nd
Silva over Vera by submission in the 3rd
Leben over Stann by TKO in the 2nd
Maynard over Edgar by TKO in the 4th

ALSO, if you're looking to get into watching MMA, there will be three undercard fights shown on Ion...NETWORK TELEVISION (meaning even if you have rabbit ears you can see these) starting at 9 pm this Saturday. They should be pretty good fights too, so tune in.

Gomi over Guida by decision
Diaz over Kim by Submission in the 1st
Silva over Vera by TKO in the 2nd
Leben over Stann by TKO in the 2nd
Edgar over Maynard by decision


Should be good night of fights. Leben vs Stann will win FOTN.

I still can't believe with the result of Edgar vs. Maynard. I agree with the draw, but just crazy stuff.

and is it just me, or did Stann look absolutely huge for 185?

Didn't get to see them but I heard they were pretty good. I'm glad Edgar kept his title but I think that it should be an immediate rematch between the two. Do you think Dana will do that or have Edgar fight the WEC dude?

Dana announced that it will be an immediate rematch and that Anthony Pettis is going to have to wait. Makes sense, Maynard deserves a rematch, Pettis still has the next fight at the title to unify the belts.

Yup, that is what tends to happen unfortunately. But look at it this way:

Fight for Troops 2 is the 22nd, and on Spike so you can DVR and not watch live, and avoid results.

126 is on February 5th and is more or less guaranteed to be a stellar card.

and sandwiched inbetween is the next Strikeforce card where two titles are on the card.

Agreed, but ultimately it really is the right thing to do. Plus, Pettis was told he was going to have the winner of the Maynard and Edgar fight... well, neither of them won. Pettis is still next in line, he just has to be patient.

Yeah, and it turns out that both Maynard and Edgar have medical suspensions now from the fight. Edgars suspension being until at least July, meaning the rematch might not be until August...

Sucks for Pettis, he might have to wait until 2012 at this rate.
