Momentum in Madden?

Do you guys believe its in the game? I feel like im the biggest momentum believers in the game, if your in a groove you never get stroked or bad throws, but it seems like when you second guess yourself thats when the game becomes terrible and you get overthrows and things thoughts?

^^^ 100% agree with you.. seems like if i think i'm gonna make an overthrow I will even if i got brees throwin the ball around

ive had games where id be like 5 moves ahead of my opp, locking him up, not gettin close to being stopped, then id get a fumble, and cant get anything to go right for the rest of the game..

thats what im talking about the momentum shifted when he got the fumble

momentum is big for me...

it migh tnot be in the code.. but its there. which is why i usually stop playing if im doing shitty.

dont really believe in it ..but a guy complementing a 3rd and long bc the db doesnt jump deflates me

GunFused, I also think you're referring to the power of positive thinking. I get it that this is a computer game, but you have to think positive and keep believing in your ability to overcome whatever is in front of you. Even when you're out of the "groove", your always 1 second from getting right back into it.

Personally, my philosophy is to flow with the game - if you're disrupted, a balanced attack alone will get you back on track . . . but you have to keep thinking positive and maintain discipline or your negativity will impact your user ability. We've all been in situations where we're angry and we start missing tackles and user catches and things like that, so I'm a huge believer in keeping a positive outlook toward each game - IMHO, that's how you consistently win hell games . . . positive thinking leads to "ice in your veins" . . . because you believe you're always a play away from turning the tide.
