| Sad to see em go...
I don't blame him though. I still think my Raiders are gonna pull out a positive record next year.

| LoL... I'm so happy as a Broncos fan.. It seems like the Raiders are going backwards despite improving their record 3 years in a row.. Fire the coach that got you to your only winning season in like 8 years.. then get rid of your best player.. NICEEEE | |

| They didn't let Nnamdi go.. his contract was voided because of a clause written in his contract. In all likelihood, he will be re-signing with Oakland. | |

| The Packers with Nnamdi and Woodson (1 or 2 more years), oh my goddddd...
Everything I'm hearing is about re-rigning with Oakland or going to New England, though.

| Steelers are a zone blitzing team, though. While I'm sure Nnamdi can play zone without a problem....he's a MUCH better man-press CB.
Teams that fit his style are (not in any order, nor are they limited to):
1. Jets 2. Raiders (yes, he might re-up with them) 3. Broncos 4. Saints 5. Cowboys

I really haven't heard this at all. The only reason they would void his contract is obviously because of how much the final year in his contract is monetary-wise.. It's pretty ridiculous that they can void a contract even though he had an excellent season.. Voided because his INT/Fumble recovery/tackle totals didn't go up.. He only needed one to go up.. He does have a great agent though LOL.. He was paid like $15 mill per year.. and it WAS a 3 year contract.. but got out early.. so a 2 year contract.. and his contract prevents him from being franchise tagged too.. Nice stuff..

| I take it a lot of you guys don't read Peter King.
He wrote about this today, saying:
"Assuming free agency does work somehow this year, keep one thing in mind: There's likely to be a salary cap with any new CBA. So the team that might be able to afford Asomugha is the team light on the salaries right now. Not Washington. Not the Jets. Not Dallas"
Sorry to the people thinking there was a solid chance of him going to the Jets or Dallas for Madden purposes.

| After a few days of thinking... Being a true Raiders fan...
I honestly think the Raiders are better off without him.
We need to re-sign Seymour most importantly. Routt, Gallery, and Miller can come later. Huff isn't preforming up to par lately.
Even though the Raiders rank 2nd in pass defense, it's only because we can't stop the run... Thus teams don't pass on us, even though I think we rank number one in yds/completion.
Plainly put, I think we need to concentrate on stopping the run before we pay someone 15 million when teams don't even let it fly.

I'm a true Broncos fan, and I'm trying to picture the same scenario which will likely happen with Champ Bailey. We will probably release him. There is no way I think the Broncos would be better off without a shutdown corner.. You can think that until you see Chris Johnson getting burnt on every play..

There is no way I think the Broncos would be better off without a shutdown corner.. You can think that until you see Chris Johnson getting burnt on every play.. I'll probably regret what I've said. But, in reality, the Raiders are losing because they can't stop the run, not because teams are passing on them. True, Aso doesn't get picks or strips because people don't throw to him, but it is also attributed to the fact that teams don't have to pass against us to win. Winning is stopping the run, and getting the defense off the field, and offense back on the field. I wish Aso will resign, but paying 15 million for a CB isn't worth it. Sure, he'll shut down a reciever, but he doesn't help stop the run... Although it is quite intimidating to go against Aso...

I COULDNT AGREE MORE!!! realistically the vikings might snatch him, being that cedric griffin cant stay healthy, and antoine's good underneath and not deep, aso would make the the secondary great.lord knows how many times the vikes was aired out this season.

| I mean it is not out of the realm of possibility for a high salary team to dump salary and make a big signing here, but that would likely leave the rest of the team in shambles.
Either way, it will be fun to see what happens.

On paper or in Madden it could be bomb, but I don't know enough about him to know whether or not he would be a diva and clash with Belicheck. I am a Patriots fan, and his talents are appealing, I just would hesitate a bit and want to learn more about this cat before drooling over the possibility.
