Subject: Cincinnati Offense Demo (SB Bunch / Strong Pro) by wangtangkiki & JayNizz Sun Jan 09, 2011 6:31 pm
Here is a video I made back in November..
It's currently my main offense. It's a really basic scheme that I use.. It's become slightly more difficult with the way they changed audibling, but every other offense has too.
I'll be posting a small breakdown of each play later on in the week.. In this first video, I don't even think I use our bread and butter play.. You'll see me use Corner Strike at 1:30.. That play is almost like our main play.. It may remind you guys of slant outs..
Anyway, here is the best play from this formation, Bunch Fade:
Bunch Fade is open vs. man almost 100% of the time..
SB Bunch is my main formation.. and I've heard a lot about the "canoe" or "kayak".. Every time I've tried it, it does not work.. Will someone try to use the Cincinnati Bengals' playbook to see if it's SB Bunch in the Bengals' playbook? There are a lot of quirky things in each playbook.. It could just be that Verticals is a hidden formation in this SB Bunch.. Anyway, any help would be appreciated..
We really hope you enjoy this scheme..
Thank you,
wangtangkiki & JayNizz

canoe kayak has to be one of the more compressed plays within the bunch formation. look at verticals/seattle
if the balls on the left hash the left WR should be at the bottom of the numbers motion the right most WR 1 step left and the CB will slide off the WR (again mcv, specific plays w/in the formation, single WR to the boundary
go into offensive strategy, thread SB bunch play-a-day, scroll down to ZSpot vs man and then read about it

the patched toned down the canoe a lot. the slant out used to get great seperation but now that they re-tooled the zones the D plays it much better. dont get me wrong im not saying it wont work but IMO it doesnt work like it used to, you should be good to go with the cincy verticles/seattle play i think that play is pretty standard in most books?

I tried it with Verticals/Seattle and I could never get it to work.. I'll lab it tonight.

it doesnt need to be that play all it is is liek a inverted slant its in some of shotty bunchs with the B Wr on a wierd slant where the Db will always bite lol

I've found one person that can stop it w/o knowing how.. It was their defense.. not sure what it was.. but their man coverage was great... I play them every now and then in C4..
Gibs will stop it but he uses man coverage.. You need safety help over the top .... AKA You use 2 players on 1 WR.. He stops it by putting a safety in deep coverage over the WR.. If you call just 46 Normal - 2 Man under, I can just bullet it down the field & got a big gain..

i can imagine a D liek smoke mid zone stopping this.. 34 predator cause its undercenter easy to get heat no time for that route but u open up other routes n audibles but by doing this ur wining that battle cause there not gunna b using this play

The drop back for the play Flanker Drive is great as with Bunch Fade.. Flanker Drive makes it so they can't sack you because your dropping back like 7 steps in a quick second.

^ Do you mean you come out in flanker drive and audible to bunch fade? Does that keep the dropback?

I come out in Flanker Drive. I have multiple setups for it. Flanker Drive's dropback is AWESOME.. so fast.. great with VY + CJ because you got two fast dudes.. one running back, another blocking incase a DT gets in.. I audible to Bunch Fade.. it's dropback is fine too..
