TWIM 47 GOTW Sgibs vs Chad (rematch) - Thoughts, Comments, & Predictions

I haven't seen Chad harass anyone on the forums. I know his demeanor in game. He gets riled up....But leave it over XBL. He never comes on here and SNAPS on anyone over a game...unless they come here first to gloat (which MB is not about).

Leave the matter to be settled via PMs or via XBL.....Madden Bible is not about the same BS that other forums are about.

I'm not siding either way.

This thread is about Chad vs. Sgibs....Coming into the thread and beating a dead horse (over a game played a month ago) isn't needed. It's been acknowledged that all parties involved handled it the wrong way. Leave it at that.

No harassing one another equates no actions handed down from gibs/farls. I'm not going to go and ban someone over an argument...Now one that's been going on (childishly by all parties) for a month+ now...Yeah, I'd consider going to Gibs/Farls and discussing options to stop the BS....

raiders will...even with the update, they still drop balls and DMC carry has gone down...and u know how chad likes to strip every chance he gets...

I'd rather Nnamdi go to NE... makes the raiders so much easier to play

Well I'm on board Oakland's bandwagon...but I found a pretty fast D (not Carolina) that is relatively unused on the tournament scene...because people feel that their O is hard to move the ball with (because of lack of a speedy RB)....

just have slow corners, but addia is quick...90 speed, 95ish accel.

fast dline, fast safties, quick LB with some Hitpower...I just dont like their Oline..

Heh.. There are definitely better teams that I'd rather have than the Packers.. that are under the radar..

I haven't seen the latest updates but here are a few teams I'd take over the Packers:

Patriots
Broncos
Lions
Titans

Lions...most definitely not....Stafford is a hybrid of Cutler and Campbell on this game. Having CJII and Best is nice, but gotta have someone to get the ball to them in space.

The preface for taking the Packers is the fact that:

1. Starks is going to be MAD good, at about 3 AM on Friday. I expect him at 92-93 speed with great acceleration...
2. Clay Matthews is hell....period....Move him around and get him screamin. Hawk isn't half bad either. Zombo can play DE....solid LB corps...
3. Woodson and Williams are a poor (and not THAT poor) man's Revis/Cro. Both jump routes like mad. Most importantly...both HOLD ONTO THE BALL
4. Shields as a nickel back is crazy.
5. Collins is one of the few safeties in the game that feels responsive with the hit stick, holds onto picks, plays man AND zone well, and comes up well on the run if you let CPU control him.
6. JERMICHAEL FINLEY. Period....Try defending routes on one side that must be usered if this man is flanked out wide opposite RC'ing on you...

Granted, this is my backup if the Raiders lose Nnamdi...Just wish they still had Al Harris. My god if they did.

I'm gravitating from offensive speed to route running and height. That's why the Packers (and Ravens) are my teams of choice.

Derrick Mason is a glitch....Driver and Jennings (and Finley, at times) are crisp on certain routes too...

I had a good feeling you meant the Pack when you said slower back and quick D, I personaly think the pack are nice too. Everyone looks for different things but they are for sure workable without a doubt.

Right now, I'm primarily focusing on getting Finley the ball early and often. He requires at least 2 men on him when he's flanked out wide to get stops....or you go zone....but if you do that...you're playing into the route running ability of Driver and Jennings....

Rodgers is now 77 speed though. So he's an extension of the run game....

since u are a bears fan...didnt think u liked the pack..

packers are very good team...I just wish the giants could have a faster secondary like packers do because being able to play man ( with good man cov ratings ) and zone ( with good zone ratings) makes a big difference...the packers are one of the few teams I dont really like playing against lol

I picked them for 2 reasons:

1. Woodson and Williams jump routes like no other...and then they hold onto them. Also, when guys slant out...Woodson and Williams both get that "jump on the WR for a piggyback ride and pry the ball loose for an incomplete" animation like 80% of the time. Love it.

2. Finley. The best package of height, speed, agility, catch, catch in traffic, beat press, and release on the game....I don't think many can argue that....Andre Johnson doesn't RC near as well as Finley. Calvin Johnson makes it close, but Matt Stafford (or Shaun Smith) will make you tear your hair out)

philip rivers and vincent jackson are arguably #1

these two duo's certainly are the best
