PS3 friend connection problem

i have a wired connection on my ps3 and i have a good connection and when i go to a session match or play now it works fine but it wont lemme connect to some of my friends like when they accept my invite it just shows a team in the same division as the team im using and after maybe 20 seconds on my screen it says opponent left the room and on their screen it says the session was closed
any1 encountered this or know how to fix it?

yes it's happened 2 me multiple times idk how to fix it though sorry.
