FINAL 2011 ROSTER UPDATE

We've finally reached the end of the 2010 NFL season. We have new Super Bowl champions in the Green Bay Packers and the next big event on the NFL calendar is the 2011 NFL Draft in April. This week we focused on getting the Super Bowl teams and their IR players off the injured reserve and back on to the team's depth charts. We also spent some extra time getting as many practice squad players on the rosters or free agency list as possible. And finally, player ratings for all positions were tweaked in a way to try and reflect where we are heading into the 2011 NFL season. Here are a few of the highlights for this week:

* Super Bowl XLV MVP Aaron Rodgers has reached 99 Overall! Safe to say Aaron Rodgers has arrived.
* Over 320+ transactions, rating adjustments and depth chart moves are updated in this pre-Super Bowl roster update.
* From the "Did You Know" department....To finish up Madden NFL 11, we have had nearly 5000+ total roster moves this year in over 20 weekly roster updates.

Casillas is off the Saints.. I think he is the 87 spd OLB.. kinda hurts.. he probably hasn't been on the team for weeks.. haven't noticed.

Something I don't understand.. where are all these updates coming from?
I'm guessing since they said they tweaked ratings for all positions, it means that they will probably have a new rating or are wanting to make 99 OVR less/more popular..

How the hell did Asomugha lose his 99 and Revis remains 99? Asomugha only allowed 34% of passes his way to be completed, allowed zero redzone catches, and zero TD's.

I still like several teams over the Packers. That's only if they didn't mess with speed ratings.. which they rarely do.. especially further along in the season..

I want a better WR core from the Packers.

Well let's see what Nelson's stats look like, if i run with the Pack, my WR will probably be
1. Finley
2. Jennings
3. Nelson,.

I'd take that over, Miles, Dez and Roy

Yeah I was wondering the same about Rivers. 4700+ yards with 100 less attempts than brees and manning but still more yards. 30+ touchdowns and only 11 interceptions. But only a 95 overall are you kidding me. This really gets me mad, and he didnt have his best receivers on the field at the same time.

I feel like Trevor Laws should have went up. Not a lot because he's still got a lot of work to do but he was a great pass rusher inside for the Eagles this year and complemented the other DT's who are asked to mainly play the run and control the gaps. Laws gave the Eagles and inside push and made some nice plays this year. Hopefully he goes up next year.

Yep. That's so true about Grimey. But hey atleast they did up his speed this season. I'm shocked Tyson Clabo got an increase. Until next year....

He needs 20 more athletic interceptions.. and a few more game clutching picks.. like 10 more.. that's it.
