The Revolution front office has decided to eliminate the Platinum and Gold system it’s been incorporating for the past couple of seasons which originally was enforced to accomodate the committed and elite. Such system was not really popular to the lower skilled Gold member who thrived on playing the best. Platinum meant you were the creme of the crop, part of the league’s best while Gold meant you were moderately skilled, but needed to prove commitment in order to be considered for a Platinum upgrade. At least thats how some of the members felt about it. Instead, the MRL will be welcoming it’s East & West Leagues which, unlike Platinum & Gold, will offer a similar level of “elite” competition on both sides. Each season will produce an East champion and a West Champion. Details on weather both champions will face off for some type of “ultimate” MRL title is still in the early stages of discussion. The purpose for this is to provide an all out, high level of competition through out the whole Madden Revolution regardles of which league (East or West) you end up in. More details to come.
