not even close...in real life OR Madden. You lose a little speed and gain 10-fold in tackling and hit power. PERRRRFECT user safety...and he's a much better safety IRL. Manning's worth came from his return skills. The Bears were smart to let him go. They have Knox and Hester to return already.

Losing Daniel Manning is kinda a factor.. 96 spd is tough for a safety.

merriweather is terrible.

he is NOT a pro-bowl safety but for whatever reason the media hypes him up.

hes talented and has the ability to make every play but he plays outside the system and goes rogue so much.

in madden he will be good for Bears users but you will be frustrated with how he plays on Sundays
