| 1 - When do you throw to the drag route? Using a WR or TE (and the Cowboys) I usually look to the drag route as a last resort and by the time I throw it, the throw is such that he gets 1-3 yards or a loss of yards on an instant tackle. When do you need to throw it to get positive yards? of course, if he clears all coverage, that's a given.
2 - The passing seems slower in 12 than 11. The ball seems to take longer to get to the receiver and the DBs break sooner on the balls throwing off my timing on old streaks and slants across the middle. Is it me? Or are others seeing something similar? By the same token, by waiting for the receiver in a curl route to stop and turn around, sometimes the ball takes so long to get there, the DB runs around the WR to block it.
3 - Again - playing the Cowboys - what's up with the DBs? Moss and Newman side by side and moss not only outruns him (passes him) but when in clear position to pick the ball, Newman attempts a basket catch instead of knocking the ball down or picking it. Normally, I'll try and take manual control and swat it, but, again, it feels like the timing is different so I'm clicking over and the player doesn't do anything.
4 - last question - what is the best/most varied defensive playbook for zone coverage? I like how well zone works, but want more than the vanilla zone coverages that take up most of the cowboys or multi-D playbooks. Texans & Redskins offer some good plays, but wondering if there is a better one.
thank you for offering to take some questions.

Thanks,
haseo15 My favorite team in the NFL is the Broncos.. My setup for their secondary is based off of the 46 Normal Speed Package personnel.. I audible from 46 Speed to 46 Bear for my defense.. This is how I set it up: CBs: Bailey, Goodman, Vaughn, Wilhite, Harris (Bailey/Goodman have the best man cov / speed combo.. Vaughn has 78 MCV and is the 2nd fastest CB on the team.. Wilhite has 77 mcv, and is faster than Harris, who only has 73 mcv) FS: Carter - I start Carter over Dawkins because Dawkins 3 stats that matter for me are Speed, Acc, and Hit Power.. I user the FS a lot.. particularly for runs.. 1. Carter: 84 spd, 85 acc, 92 Hit Power 2. Dawkins: 84 spd, 84 acc, 83 Hit Power 3. Moore It really saddens me to do this but I can't go by reputation, I go by stats. SS: Bruton - 6'2", 88 spd, 85 acc.. No hit power but has good height and speed.. Note: After playing a game vs a good player in MRL, I realized that when I defend runs, I can't get to the edge sometimes with Carter.. So I am going to switch him with Bruton.. You can keep Carter in the same spot if you let the CPU user the run plays.. That way you still have a hard hitting safety over the middle of the field.. but now I am going to switch them.

| Oh yeah, I love their DL..
Since I use 46 Speed.. I only have 1 LB on the field.. and my nano actually features Von Miller as a DE blitzing.. I have Elvis on the otherside.. then I have DJ Williams as my sole "real" LB.. (By real, I mean he's the only LB that goes in coverage & actually plays the role of a LB)

| I need tips on how to improve my pass protection and what to do with my qb to buy time.
I never had to watch pass rushers in M11. I feel like in m12, I can't look at my receivers, all I can do is watch where the rush is coming from. I have been getting owned by 4 man rushes. Moving outside of the pocket has spelled disaster for me. Along with the fact that you get sacked if someone is near you and you try and pass. Any suggestions?

Just like in the NFL, gotta have a mental clock.. The one day I played online and I played against cowboys with gmen. It was crazy, reminds me of m10 with pass rush. Great pass rushers always win. Make ur reads quicker, identify cov presnap. Bock a rb to the side with the pass rusher or block te

i like to have a flood on one side of the field for example a deep route and a corner route then i like to motion my running back out and put him on a drag for a quick hitter. which causes to many things to guard.
