| HD PVR is the best thing Ive bought in a while. It makes a great stream. Just stinks that it doesn't get picked up as a camera but I understand y it doesn't. Enjoy that thing man!
You have a Mac or PC? | |

| I totally admit to being a Mac enthusiast. I love everything mac. My set up is:
Insignia 46" LCD Hauppauge HD PVR 13" MacBook Pro OSX 10.7 EyeTv for recording iMovie (for now anyway) for editing
its pretty simple, easy to edit kinda set up. once i learn more about editing i may buy final cut or sony vegas, we'll see.
any tips on editing, what's your set up?

| Thats my setup, I do have Final Cut but don't find it worth it to bring all the movies in and stick with IMovie. I got an extra monitor too, 24 incher | |

How long does it take you to import mp4's to iMovie? Sometimes it takes 1-1.5hrs which seems like forever for a 1.2GB file.

| Yeah, it takes a while, depending on how long the video is between 15-45 mins. | |

| Seems like a mac is the way to go. I have a PC and use software called X-Split to stream with. | |

Mac is the way to go regardless. Everything I own is Mac. 3 iPhones. 2 iPads. iMac. Airport extreme. Appletv. Trust me it's worth the money.
