Here are the details of this event:
EVENT INFO:

REGISTRATION:
Every player must be registered online by Thursday, December 1st. Only players who have registered online will be allowed in the tournament. Upon arrival each player will be given a required name badge to wear during the entire tournament. madden2012.eventbrite. com
REFUNDS:
Once registration has been received online, there are no refunds. If a player registers, but does not show up by the scheduled time of the game, his game will be called a forfeit, and the present player will be advanced to the next round.
PLATFORM:
The Tournament is being played on the XBOX 360 console.
CONTROLLERS:
Each player is responsible for bringing their own controller.
ARRIVAL TIME:
Check-in will begin at 9:00am. Tournament will begin promptly at 10:00am. Players not available at the start of their game will be given 5 minutes past the official start time. After the 5 minutes has passed, the game is a forfeit and the player is eliminated from the tournament. The opponent will be automatically advanced to the next round.
GAME TIME:
Games will be 4-minute quarters with a 20-minute time.
TEAMS:
Players will be allowed to use any of the 32 NFL teams. Players do not have to use the same team throughout the tournament. Players will be allowed to use the same teams within a game. Players may choose any NFL Madden 12 team and any offensive and defensive playbook. Opposing players may use the same NFL Madden 12 team and playbooks.
ELIMINATION:
This tournament is single-elimination with possible buy-back based on quantity of gamers.
MERCY RULE:
There is a 21 point mercy rule in effect until the championship game. If either player gains a lead of 21 or more points the game is ended with the player leading declared the winner.
TAKEOVERS:
No player is allowed to pass to their game to another player for any reason. If for any reason a players is unable to finish a game, their game will be forfeited and the remaining player automatically advances to the next round.
MEMORY CARDS:
No personal Memory cards are allowed during tournament play.
CONDUCT:
Players will be respectful towards others in their language, and avoiding physical contact. Behavior that is considered offensive by referee may result in a disqualification.
AUDIBLE:
Players may not audible out of the QB Kneel, Wildcat, Field Goal, or Punt offensive formations. Violators of this rule must call a timeout before running their next play and if they don’t have a timeout, they must take a delay of game penalty.
PAUSES:
Players may not pause the game during players, but can pause the game between plays to use a Challenge, ask their referee a question, or bring a possible violation to the attention of the referee.
SETTINGS:
Game settings will be left at default with 4 minute quarters.
