| I read the AZ playbook took the tourney in Harrisburgh, I didnt see much fanfare on that book this year, I guess it still is potent in the right hands BUT that is any book actually | |

| There were several books being used effectively. Arizona was just one of many. Evil Ken ran Denver very well, TDavis was unstoppable out of Dallas, Lil Man ran Arizona...there was a lot of scoring going on...
...unless you were me...if you were me, you were losing games 17-14 and 21-17 because your O wasn't up to par and your defense was over-roided...
Let that be a lesson...you always need to put SOME time in on offense...I put a 90/10 split in favor of defense as far as my labbing went.

| Yup, prophet.
Played Marcdog in the CVC. Renegades vs. Money Team (Truth, Tyronto, Marcdog).
I was up 21-14 on Marcdog, who was said to have the toughest Vick-stick in the nation. Believe you-me, it was. However, I still sacked that man 7 times. Not an exaggeration. He couldn't stop my blitz scheme, and got rattled...he was just running around like mad with Vick. Crazy that I sacked him 7 times and didnt get a game sealing fumble. Anywho, he managed to tie the game up. I had ball at about midfield with a minute left in a tie game. He'd been 1-5-5 shaking all game, and I'd hit him for big gains with HB slip screen. This time, the shake came in and hit Rodgers as I was throwing, and caused the duck throw that his DT picked (which RARELY happens this year). His DT housed it to make it 28-21. So with 40 seconds left I start my drive to tie/win, I go down to his 6 yard line. with 15 seconds left. 3rd and goal from the 6, he runs coverage D, I have Nelson running from left to right in the endzone near the left hash. Marcdog jumps it, over-anticipating, I see it, and playmaker Nelson back to the left, and now hes 10 yards open standing on the first "E'" in "GREEN BAY" in the endzone, Rodgers throws it into the crowd for no reason. Marcdog even told me I got screwed. I took a delay of game to back it up to the 11 and give me room to throw on 4th. But Marcdog went ahead and sent 6 with BNR. None of my guys got off their bump and it was all she wrote.
The individual tournament, I lost games in less heartbreaking fashion by scores of 21-17, 17-14, won 30-14, and lost 17-14.

| But I played my *** off. Had several dudes there saying my D was one of the best at the tournament, despite losing more than I won. Mainly off the fact that it wasn't 46/1-5-5 shake. Tough to score on a look you haven't labbed against. People couldn't throw without throwing on the run. The heat was too real. When they ran, my newly found run D was holding guys to like 55 yards on 20 carries...
No other way to explain it other than I let myself down. My offense wasn't near the level it should have been. A grade "C" offense, with the D I ran, would have gotten me a deep run....my O was probably a "D-"

GREAT JOB on giving them heck though, also GREAT JOB not having everybody elses Defense, and I know from reading your words, if you're in another tourney your offense will be more potent!

| I do agree they are a fun scene, I havent been since the MC stop coming to Vegas, the MC Final used to be at House of Blues, I would go watch that also.
I use to enter tp play in the Mega Bowls and MCs when they used to come to Vegas, PS2 and when xbox took over.
Its a great scene, back when The Realist, Sandman, Big Gene, Pretty Boy, Secret, Chow, Nephew, Champ, One9, Verbal, and most of those early Madden Nation guys were on the scene. When it seemed like everybody used ATL, Vick scrambling or RCs to Finnegan lol

Not askin for schemes or plays just curious as to what formations u used on D that was so effective at Harrisburg?

| Ah man, don't get it twisted. I'm not proud of my showing AT ALL. I played terribly on O. Lost games because I was ill-prepared on offense. My defense was WELL above par for the tournament, though.
And Evil Ken straight KILLED it out of Bronco Heavy. His Cam Newton was tough.

Sounds like some good stuff. D this year is definitely all about limiting the O and making them earn every yard. Im trying to play one of you guys on this site. I may have played one of you guys on GS but I haven't met anyone who has limited me on O.

| Gunfused,
Ask Moe. We played in that gaunt last night. It was a straight up hell game. He did a good job being patient. My O is just terrible.

| offense is easy zan what PB u use ? i guess for me its opposite i cant get caged offensively always put points atleast a FG every drive . find myself in shoot out games i tend to win because i am jus better at usering when it comes down to my opponent having to facethrow and i turn my CB around for that quick pick or i jus out user my opponent on Offense thats when i usually win cause i have that upper hand
as far as defense goes bro when we played a while back it wasnt bad at all low score game
idk what has dime and 425 though i suck with 425
