| I posted this on MaddenTips as well as another site and wanted to see what you guys thought as well
Wanted to see what some people thought of this play and see how people could run with it.
This is essentially a "Cover 7"
what is really cool about this is that it give you extreme flexibility to drop players and still maintain great coverage deep.
I initially thought about this play for facing guys that love to user catch down field.
My initial setup...
Bump n Run Place both safeties in yellows Pinch D-line Drop both DEs into purples Drop one DT into a spy User control the MLB
This is max coverage so you will need to mix in few blitzes but when you play someone thats heavy in user catching streaks I think this defense could do a nice job - mix and match the deep zones
run with this and report back | |

| my xbox is broke but I ran some thing like this for my 1:00 defense before. I used quarter 3 deep prevent... my setup was something like middle safety in yellow, free safety in purple, lde spy , rde yellow shift line right.. some thing like that but i would setup the play to look like a blitz and then some times run strike blitz... worked very well for me in situations.. | |

| have to lab this, i do something close to this already
dime cover 4
shift the d-line and crash them right or left, shift the MLB over the TE in his yellow, place opposite DE in spy (if they slide protect to the blitz, re-blitz the opposite DE down)
i will place the SS in a yellow if they throw seam streaks on the right, shade coverage to middle, and user the left slot CB and lurk anything across the middle,or a left seam streak or a left of field slant out
(my concerns with press coverage and both safeties in yellows, leaves outside streaks open)

| I run this a little different, but its still good, It seems that when safety's are in Cov 2 zone they play crossing routes and streaks better IMO, I man up outside wr's , press coverage, put de on wide side of field in purple and user the mlb. | |

| You can do a lot with all prevent plays in the game. Dime prevent and Quarters 3 Deep prevent are both effective ways to stop facethrowing of course with adjustments. | |
