I would like to thank all of the guys that have come out to support this event. There were a lot of new faces for the 360 side of the event. Thank you! This event was very successful! We had 31 players on the 360 side and 15 players on the PS3 side. I believe the reduced fee to $30 was the huge difference that brought out the fresh new faces.
The 360 side of the tournament came down to the championship game of Nephew vs Evil Ken. Nephew held Evil Ken off to pull out the win. Congratulations Neph, you deserved to win with the way you played the entire tournament. Nephew is probably the most humble person when he wins and very respectful. We enjoy having you at our tournaments.
The PS3 side of the tournament had Big Game James split with Lil Man as they met up in the championship game. Thank you guys for a well played tournament and also the respect that you show time and time again to us and our establishment.
As far as some concerns that were stated on the boards while the tournament was going on. As we got down to the Playoffs of the tournament for both sides, it just so happened that there were 4 EMB players on 1 side of the playoffs. We go by seeding fellas. There were also 3 GTP Members on the other side. We do not intentionally try to sabotage any of our events to hurt any crew or person participating in the event. As far as the tournament running late, we have players participating in both systems. So there may be a delay near the end when the same guys are still in the playoffs in both systems.
All in all fellas, the guys that showed up, seemed to have enjoyed themselves, especially the guys that were no longer in the playoffs because of the bar/club that is also located inside (video will be coming soon) You all missed a good show tonight!
So for EMB, Brotherhood, SNS, WWA, GTP, LAB, and all of the guys not associated with a crew, thank you guys, we enjoy throwing these tournaments for you guys. This was probably the most fun I have had at any of our tournaments this season and for the new guys that have come to their first tournament, I hope this will not be your last.
