| i voted RnG simply because essentially anyone could take that playbook and learn 10 plays and be successful.
i rolled with Oakland playbook for a long while, then i switched to San Fran

| ya i agree with both of you.
im just biased towards Indy. Its my playbook!
I hope it remains the same for 2010. Doubles close, shotty ace, and bunch te are my fav formations

| I voted for Seattle I recently ran into a guy using it and I though you know those far and near formations are pretty good... especially when u can set your own schemes up inside of those formations. I think most people lean toward the run n gun. Like Sgibs said, the indy playbook has some really unique formations and plays. | |

| ya SEA was the first book i flirted with in Madden 09 general. The reason I moved awaay from it was because it contains no screens. sad but true.
you NEED to run screens in Madden 09. Gotta keep the D honest

This is unfortunately true, they are way too good in this game. Screens on Madden 09 for the PS2 have a really good balance. - sgibs7 wrote:

These are the same formations I want to see as well. Don't forget about I-Form Tight Pair either. It has Iso, FB Dive, and HB Power O which is the formation audible down. Check out PA Spot as well. The TE on the right is on a smash route which is great in the red zone or short yardage situations, especially if they are looking for the run. I should look deeper into this playbook, some of the other formations look really good.

I know what you mean. Singleback Deuce has 7 pages of plays, and you can flip it without movement just like Singleback Doubles Close. Then there is Singleback Deuce Twins which is just like Gun Bunch TE. It has that X Spot play I know you like to use. Singleback Dice has the Flea Flicker, Jailbreak Screen, and tons of running plays including HB Power O.

| Ya I agree Indy is like my alternative playbook. I dont use it much but when I feel it is needed then I will use it. I am going to take a closer look though. | |

| west coast is a great playbook if under centers offenses where a little more effective in Madden 09. None the less great book | |

| I i voted for an use the RnG pb.. It has the best plays to me. I use to use westcoat too, i didnt even mind that it didnt have a shotgun formation. ithink it has some of the best plays in 09 but i just feel better about the rng | |

| i run with the RnG playbook just because he good blocking sceams u can get out of those full house packages for those 5-10 yard runs .. especially wen u have a fast RB .. easy to bounce outside if there isnt an outside blitz coming .. i also use Pass Balance for awhile but im torn .. i need a playbook to stick with .. any help or suggestions ? | |

Between those two I would use Pass Balanced. Run N' Gun gets so old after a while and Pass Balanced has some really great passing formations. Personally I use Indianapolis, you should check it out.

| ok ok ok .. i voted for RnG but i really think TB should be on the list .. yes i understand it has the HB direct snap .. (not really a cheap play) .. its a good playbook for both passing under center and out of shotty .. great mix between runs and passes .. several formations with RB screens as well as WR screens .. ide vote TB if was on the list .. | |

| I jus keep jumping playbooks can't stand with one started with pitt move to Ne then RnG then Sea then pass balanced and now just experimenting the TB playbook. What i find is that the HBDS play can beat most of the nanos that are thrown around easily. But i really need help finding a good off play in this play book so far just using pa X clown and HB option with two wr to rc with. I was wondering if some one can help. btw i think i might make this king smiley my symbol from now on | |

| I was jumping from playbook to playbook to for awhile but I finally just stick to one.
I ended up staying with the NY Jets PB.
