A Blast From the Past

i recentlly ran about 3 games or so of madden09 online as a change of pace from the mundane of madden10. it was nice but to my surprise, there were quite a few cats online running this game. lol! i loved it! of course, the game speed is quicker and i absolutely had to run the I-Form Twin TE and Gun: Trips TE formations out of the RnG pb with my Ravens. awwww...those were the days! lol!

mmadden 09 was a good game but in my eyes madden 10 is just as good if not better..biggest problem in 09 in my opinion wasnt fb dive or curls..it was the fact that if u didnt user you're safety it was a touchdown

If 09 had a and b gap nanos, curls wouldnt of been that bad.But since they made that game with a superhuman o-line people had all the time in the world to throw the curl or quick pass you smh.Also man d was broke.FB dive was pretty bad but nothing compared to offtackle of this year.And also what Jerky said you had to user your safety cuz deep posts got open on everything smh.

09 imo is a perfect game if u take away the fb dive, RC, clown route, man coverage, db awareness on curls....

just think, madden 10 has 4/5 of those things fixed, but as those things got better different things got worse....I think with 11 they will find that sweet spot

are game changers for 10 so where u going with this...I would much rather play with the 09 problems over the 10 problems....Imo it is easier to work around the 09 problems as well

Madden 09 was hands the worst Madden of all time!

not just because of the FB dive and RC curls issue.

but becuase defense was 100% bogus. No A gap heat could be generated. NONE. C gap was all you could bring and that was the downfall of the game.

Im not 100% sure but i think I had some A gap heat frm the 4-3 formations. But as I said im not 100% sure.... Ill get back 2 you if I can find some of my 4-3 blitzes....I wish I could just pop 09 in but it broke

Idk but to me 09 was just a plain fun game 4 me....the online game was bad (but better than 10)...And I may even sound crazier now but 08 was more fun than both of them....lol

But I agree gibs 07 cg was the best follwed by 04 (the game that got me hooked)

the only thing i like better about 09 is the endzone celebrations. perfect way to rub in a TD
