| I mostly lab on all madden in a regular game. I have been experimenting with alot of the ideas that I have seen from watching the show. I am decent on offense but I feel like I suck on defense. I am experimenting with using the safety and I wanted to know what is the best way to get pressure because I seems like my d-line can't get a push and I always get beat on the end route. What more can I do to stop this from happening so frequently? | |

| well if you're playing on All Madden then the CPU AI has 50 you have 25 that's the main reason you're not winning with your defensive line
on here they show all kinds of great blitzes and nanos and stuff just ask away

| Your DL will never get a good enough rush like it happens in the NFL. You must use nanos or overloads.
I would look into using the TENN or NYJ D book.
TENN is great because of the 4-4 defensive formation. Put all LBs in yellow zones before any of these steps. To do this, just press R1 + up on the right stick.
The easiest way to get pressure is to put your two MLBs in the A-gap, but not too close. You just put those two MLBs in the A-gap, then blitz them. Put your DEs in yellow zones. You may want to use the play Monster Green. One DEs already in a fake blitz yellow zone. This makes it so you only have to playmaker your left of screen DE.
The same process can be done with the NYJ D but you have to use the Nickel - Odd Split. Both MLBs in A-gap and blitz them down. It works great. You can also use the Nickel 1-5-5 defense.

| I love that your using the safety. You will get beat and let up some long TD's as you learn assignments, BUT it will allow you to make more plays and manually cover areas on the field to bring more blitzs. The only real way to get heat is to blitz and overload. Get comfortable with a few setups and knowing where to roam on the field. This will be a great start. | |

the great thing about the 3-4 to me is the fact that you can come up with various "blitzing" scenarios with the LBs. you can blitz the NT,a DE and then send both OLBs or both MLBs in on a blitz. or you can send both a MLB and a OLB (from either the same side side of the field or the opposite side). you can send both MLBs in on a blitz and drop the OLBs in either a Hook, Flat or Buzz zone. or, you can blitz all four of the LBs. the 3-4 gives you tremendous versatility. now....my boy Colonel rocks that 4-3 to perfection! the heat and pressure he brings out of it is tuff. you may want to hit him up for more info on that 4-3 ~Mili

| I still suck at covering with my safety too. I believe I feed to much on what I see underneath and try to make that play because my DE is breathing down his neck. Next thing you know, I am lost in the wind.
