| well .. ive had much succes running draws out of the shotty .. the only problem i seem to have is if the D tightens the line up .. it is sometimes hard to get outside unless u have a brandon jacobs in the backfeild .. | |

| yeah i agree patsfan, running out of the shotgun is not easy... but for that matter, i feel like the running game in madden 10 is very minuscule. i have not seen a play where a guy has gotten more than 15 yards on a rush. i honestly think i have never allowed more than 40 yards rushing in a game yet. it could very well be random and by chance, but as of right now i dont think the rushing game really exists | |

some aspects i agree but some i dont .. i had an easy time running against the vikings D .. there d line is fairly good .. willie parker had 112 yards rushing by the end of the game .. it seems easy if you can run outside b.c the spin move is devistating to the defenders that are not user controlled ..

I have mostly been trying to run up the middle but it sounds like people are having more luck running outside? Is it possible to get outside even if they do not pinch the d-line? BTW, I use the Bears (Forte) and Saints (Thomas) mainly. With the Saints, I cannot run worth shit up the middle. I get stuffed ALL the time!!! Pisses me off when its like 2nd and 2 and I still can't get a first down with the power run up the middle.

| I have been able to run really well out of a certain power set.
I have the option of a FB dive..HB power...PA...and a leak out of hte backfield..
also try different line slides...it really helps...seems like if you slide protect to the opposite side of hte HB power you get great blocking to cut it up inside or bounce it out if you see the whole.

| i have broke a 72 yd td with chris johnson from the titans off an iso run. I have found that when playing online it helps more to just move the left stick really hard instead of trying to use a juke or the highlight stick. it seems to be more effective to me because a lot of online players have crappy stick skill and sometimes they will switch to the wrong player and move the wrong way. | |

| I play with the Cowboys and I usually run to set up the pass. Last year I used the Run N' Gun book but I don't like it this year. I started using the Indy playbook and I like it but I can't seem to run at all. I am trying mostly up the middle stuff with Barber who has 94 truck so i must be doing something wrong. Can anyone help me? | |

| make sure that you run behind the offensive linemen that have the best run block ratings, make sure u check your depth chart. it will drastically improve your game. would u rather run behind a mac truck or a bicycle? haha | |

| in 10 it is definitly harder 2 run if ur not looking 4 holes but if u look 4 the right holes u get big gains.and yes running to the outside is hard 2 stop unless there usering the safety on that side and see it coming.also make sure u put pa's and other things ready to keep the Defense honest | |
