what defense will you be running in 12

just curious as to what people are going to be running this year im about 50/50 right now between the 3-4 and 46

dont know well have to see how the game plays

mostly Nickle...

i may re-visit that 3-4 w/my Ravens. but definitely incorporate the Nickle.

3-4 or 4-4

4-3 and nickle...not decided yet on the nickle formation

same here and some different subs which is basically nickel just different alignments and a few slight personal changes ... i'm like the packers i'd rather be in a nickel set than a 3-4, 4-3,4-4, or 46 i just feel it fits me better and what i want to do with my defense its just my style of play i feel nickel allows me to do more of what i want on the field

i like having a lot of linebackers on the field..

i might run 4-3 if the LB pass rush package is in M12...



also gonna try and innovate a new defense... something along the lines of a 6-1-4, or 7-0-4

(doubt it will work, but im gonna try my damnest to be that 1 guy at the tournament that makes people look and say WTF?!)

so far after playing the demo, the 3-4 and 4-1-6 and like others have stated some nickel....

i honestly think the 46 will be dead this year, just don't see it working as well without the contain blitz and i haven't had "demo success" with it like the 3-4 or 4-3 so far

3-4 and I want to get more familiar with the 1-5-5.

46 normal is like a cold Coke on a summer day...its always good. Since its inception in madden it prob is the most used formation year in and year out.

I've turned into a big fan of the 46 since I've become part of the MB Nation of Domination, and I like to switch it up between that and some nickel. Gonna to try to start working more out of the 4-3, though.

4-3(Base), Nickel Normal, Dime Normal, Quarters 3 Deep(situational), and Goaline(red zone). Need dts that can clog the middle and fast ends for the outside rush.

true because even if you don't have the best blitzes it from it is also good if you just want man coverage and hawk the field with the user safety and its great for run D it will always be great for that

I might run 4-4......I used it as my base in ncaa12 and had a lot of fun with it. Great for the run and can bring some great pressure.
