patch 1.03 is out!

The Madden NFL 11 patch is available now for PS3 users.

spy is fixed

spy is still there kinda sorta

it gets through every once in a while but also gets shutdown

its not 100% there

I guess their excuse will be that no one told them about it..

EA couldn't fix a hole in a paper bag with a box of scotch tape.

Hmm.. I dunno. I think this "decoy" technique works in lots of situations even without this "unassigned LB" thing. I think it is a real football technique also. I see every Sunday where a LB or a safety will drop into the box and fake like they are blitzing, even take 2-3 steps toward the o-line after the snap and then pull back into coverage. All this is in order to hopefully occupy an o-lineman, cause confusion and free up someone else to get to the QB unblocked.

To me, this is not cheese and is a completely legitimate technique. Am I off in left field here?

I think your right, but the lineman shouldn't suck out to him that far. Also its the only way to get a player on the defense to not be in an assignment. all 11 guys have a responsibility and this guy just goes rogue which is a mistake in the game.

You can show blitz by pressing Y left, thats real but nobody runs out 4 yards at a guy.

I see... so something about that unassigned guy makes the o-line go out more aggressively to block the FS that is "fake blitzing"? Yeah, I have not see it so if that is the case that would be retarded.

Can someone please take off the instructions to the no assignment blitz from the board...it's already bad enough...lol

my only thing about the new patch is it made kicking a field goal almost a guarentee i mean could they of moved the kick power any slower the way it was originally there was a chance that someone would miss a field goal that's out the window now

its too fucking slow...u can go get a coffee and come back...now i cant tell if its lagging

wow that was pretty fast! post already taken down? i dont mean to feed people with glitches but as you know its no different than the qb spy blitz being youtube searched to death if people want glitches they are gunna find em. and when EA stops letting these lil exploits through their quality control then we can all play football. so i say as a community lets get together and figure out how to beat plays like this . honestly it makes no difference if a post includes how to do something that is cheese or glitchy cuz you and i both know that some and probably most have used a glitch at one point or another. unfortunately EA makes this a part of the game and we have to figure out how to counter it. am i right or am i wrong? i mean if your really that upset about the "how to post" then i apologize, SOOO lets start a thread about how to beat it

Well it was an accident.. it's supposed to be fast.. they will be fixing it.. says Ian Cummings [Lead designer or something of M10/M11] from Twitter.

Lol first game I played when the patch came out I didn't know the kick meter was made slower. I got like 25% kick power and kicked out of bounds lol

The first time I used the kick meter, I thought I somehow sent the invite on All-Pro

The speed difference pre-patch from All-Madden to All-Pro is huge.. I always missed kicks on All-Pro because I wasn't patient enough.. Honestly, the kick meter feels like it's normal All-Pro settings to me lol. Thats how slow All-Pro kick meter is.
