I user FS a lot (SS on some plays). TO guys who user FS/SS, do you guys cheat up, play closer to one WR before snap, or stay at reg depth.

What do you FS/SS guys do lol?

If you recognize your opponents tendencies then I usually shade to what I think will be there #1 read. If I see a mismatch like a LB on Percy Harvin then I try to double him to prevent a huge play. It takes some time for WR's to get down field so you have the ability to start playing short and recover deep.

^^^^ what he said also the speed of the guy i'm usering will usually determine the depth I play at, and I will usually always shade the side with the most receivers

I usually just keep him at safety if you run a 4-4 I would put him at LB

It depends on the scheme I'm running.. and the coverage.. I like to run a lot of Cover 3.. I would advise to stay back about 12-15 yds from the line of scrimmage because there will seemingly always be a guy on a streak that goes directly into your zone.. I usually stay back deep because I've learned to not give up big plays.. I'll give up maybe 10 yd gains.. but not TDs..

If I'm running a 46 Normal scheme, I usually put the faster player at SS and blitz him into the right B-gap.. then I user the other person.. I have confidence in my user skills that I can make plays with a crappy player.. it does help to have a faster/taller player, but if I can put the faster/taller player as a blitzer to make plays shorter.. I will.
