Panthers top 5 madden team

easily a top 3 defence, and their O has SPEED everywhere...

clausen doesn't get it done for me

cowboys, raiders, saints, ravens, eagles (not in order). I don't really see room for them in the top 5 maybe top 10

Raiders(Everyone knows why)
Ravens( Great defense, They drop nothing with great route running)
Cowboys( Yes still great.No weakness)
Eagles(vick,maclin,jackson,mccoy. GG) In the right hands
Saints ( Great offense, no stick on defense you wont get a stop though)

Cowboys have no LB's, after Ware they're done, poor coverage losing jason williams hurt, really hurt

Oh the 4-6 speed, understandable. I just like a bit more bulk sometimes. I like LB's and SS's at LB. Giants are perfect..

Panthers are not a top 5 team...their D-line is soft and even if u sub in LB's are De, the panthers DT's are soft. Wrs suck outside smith. clausen is decent at best.

If u take away a team's speed factor (like u ravens against raiders) then other attributes come into play. Route running, Cit, accel, blocking, block shedding, tackling, man cov, stuff like that.

To say the best teams are the top dawgs cause they have "speed" is pretty much biased. top 5 teams are the most complete all around teams.

I love the running game with the panthers. I can't wait for the next update for Mike Goodson after a couple of hundo's I hope the madden gods show this guy some love. He's already a threat in the receiving game now if he can run a few guys over good luck to you. Defensively they are a little week against the deep ball if your playing the eagles or raiders you have to either get fast pressure or play deep zones. Beason and Davis are terrors when you blitz these guys, Beason is a patrick willis JR who sheds every block like lightning. I have been experimenting with godfrey at ROLB and have been shutting guys down. This gives you 90,85,88 speed at LB if you play 3-4 you can add williams with 87 speed and good cover skills as well.

I give em a top 3 vote behind the raiders and eagles for obvious reasons. All I know is when I beat somebody they're probably like d@mn I need to give the panthers a look.

all i know is, in my experience, clausen makes way to many key over throws

didnt see any jets in ppl's top list

Ss and back up corners just don't have the speed as the raiders or ravens, plus they don't have a Jason Williams or Thomas Howard that is fast enough to guard a rb.

Jets are a beast now that sanchez can throw, wish jets would signed jason williams they need a cover backer

Panthers DL soft? So having 4 DE with 84+ Power or Finesse move is soft? PMV/FMV is what the DL is about.. I don't understand what you mean by soft.. Their DTs don't have high PMV/FMV but I would put my DEs at DT to have better run stoppers in there..

High Power/Finesse move = more times the DL swim moves over the offensive line..




Why take away a team's "speed factor"? It counts in games.. If I have a 97 speed WR with 97 acc.. he can outrun a 90 speed CB.. It matters.. You can't just take away speed.. It matters a lot..





Everett Brown would be my #2 DT.. In most DT nanos, he would come free.. like 43 Over - Smoke Mid Zone or 46 Bear - Flip & Pinch..
Norwood my #1 DT.. highest PMV/FMV of the group with 88.

Hardy/Johnson my DEs..
My backups DEs = OLBs..


Btw.. I like that Jason Williams is an OLB now.. I swore he was a MLB so you couldn't put him at DE.. It was a problem because some people that ran 46 Speed wanted 87 spd DE.. but could only put Ware since Williams was a MLB..





Top 5 team for sure.. One of the most balanced teams in the game..

QB: Overthrows, but every QB overthrows.. I specialize in short passing.. but honestly.. 75 med/deep acc isn't THAT bad.
RB: Three great RBs.. 94 speed Williams with 94 elu and 94 carry.... 90 speed Stewart with 92 trucking..
FB: You can have a 93 speed FB [Goodson 93 spd, 91 elu] LOL..

WR: 4 WRs over 90 speed/90 acc.. Steve Smith = Speedster with good CIT Only WR that doesn't have 90 speed/acc is LaFell.. He's 6'2" with 87 CIT.. 86 spd/85 acc; You also have a BEAST WR in Gettis.. He's 6'3", 92 speed, 90 acc with 80 CIT.. Rare specimen. Clowney = speed WR.. 94 speed, 96 acc.. Edwards = Backup speed WR.. 91 speed, 95 acc..

TE: Barnidge is a decent speed TE.. not great CIT.. 79; but you can easily use him. Any TE over 80 speed is a luxury.

S: Three 87+ speed safeties.. including a 90 speed / 93 acc SS in Godfrey.. Martin is 6'1" also..

K: 97 kick power

P: only 86 kick power..

1. Raiders [Best height+speed combo on D]

2. Cowboys [GREAT speed at CB.. Built for the 46 Speed pack.. need a better backup LB.. Good QB, Felix great RB.. fumbles; Barber nerfed 4 good WRs..]

3. Saints[3 WR w/ 90 spd, also Colston is 6'4" with 95 CIT.. RC WR; Reggie Bush, Brees, Shockey, TE Jimmy Graham is 6'6" with 85 spd, 88 acc..]

4. Ravens [2nd best D in the game.. need more height at CB.. Good QB, Good RB [slower than what I want, but can easily work w/ 93 elu, 90 spd, 97 acc, 3 high CIT WRs.. 99/95/86 are the high CIT; RTE is not as good as ppl pump it up, but still is good. 97 [Mason], Housh [86], Boldin [90] No absolute beast WR [93+ speed, 6'3", decent CIT WR, 3 athletic TEs. Great OL]

5. Panthers [Read above]

10. Bears [Peppers is great.. 5 DL w/ over 80 P/F move.; 3 LB over 80 spd, 4 DB over 90 spd, Fastest SS in game is Manning; 96 spd/96 acc; prefer higher MCV.. Semi-accurate QB.. Deep acc lacks, should go up soon; Mobile w/ 70 spd, 75 acc, Forte lacks elusiveness/truck; 2 speedy WRs in Hester/Knox; Bennett 84 CIT WR, Olsen great TE.. 6'5", 87 spd, 88 acc, 85 CIT!]

11. Redskins [Semi-good QB.. lacks short acc LOL.. Finally have 90+ spd RB again in James Davis; Torain = 91 truck; so power back; 4 WR with 93+ speed, two have 96 speed.. crazy.. Malcolm Kelly is 6'4"; only 85 spd though, Cooley slower TE.. 79 spd, but 86 CIT.. Davis has 85 CIT.. two decent receiving TEs.. 3 DL with 80+ power/finesse move; Have a great run stopping DT in Haynesworth.. Good LB core.. not the fastest, but have good players like London Fletch w/ 91 OVR.. 98 tackle, 81 hit power; 2 96 speed CBs.. Moore is 88 spd FS; Landry fumble machine.. 92 spd,93 acc;]

12. Lions [Great DL; 6 DL w/ 80 pwr/fin move; Suh/Williams great DT pair.. both 89 POW move.; 2 fast LBs. 2 CB over 90 spd; They miss Johnathon Wade A LOT.. would be in probably top 5.. Spievey/Delmas good 86/87 spd safeties.Delmas 85 hit power; Stafford accurate QB; 2 good RBs.. Best FAST RB.. Brown needs more carrry; 4 WR w/ 90 spd; BEAST WR: Johnson Jr. Speed WR: Logan; RC WR: B. Johnson 6'3" 87 spd; Scheffler 83 spd, 88 spec catch;]

13. Packers [BALANCED.. TOO TIRED; HAVE ONE OR TWO CB OVER 90 SPD. Woodson needs more man cov.. surprsingly low.. 88.. I thought he had 99.. Woodson isn't as shut down as I thought.. I thought Woodson had 97 mcv, w/ 90 spd; Shutdown CBs that are slow: Brandon Flowers.. 95 mcv, 89 spd, 94 acc;]


That's basically a list of teams with at least a dominant offense or defense and an above average offense or defense..
Like the Raiders have dominant defense and offense.. Cowboys the same.. Saints have dominant offense and an above average D.. [not sure why people are saying you'll need stick skill.. I just checked and they have 4 DBs with 90 speed.. 2 LBs - 84/87 spd.. 7 DL with at least 80 power or finesse move..]

I have the Eagles low on my list because everyone in this game has offense.. Defense is the biggest problem in the game.. You need faster/better players to win.. Sometimes a scheme won't work.. A quick flat pass vs. a slow D like the Browns could go for 50 yds.. That usually doesn't happen vs. the Raiders.

summed it up perfect for me.. i love using carolina.. top 3 defense for sure and alot of speed on O and you can play many styles with them.. fun team

make that 3 who agree, ive caused heartache and pain with carolina, ive caused divorces(j/k),unemployment and pissed happy meals off with carolina, lol

You know....all these people saying that the Panthers can't be top 10, 5, whatever team because they don't have a QB.......

Why are the RAIDERS a top 10, 5, whatever team, then? They have Campbell and Gradkowski?! That's not a heck of a lot better than Clausen....and the Panthers D is BETTER than the Raiders...not the mention the LEGIT speed of the Panther's WR corps dwarves the equal speed of the Raiders...because Steve Smith is basically a more reliable Jacoby Ford, while everyone on Oakland is equal to their counterpart on the Panthers (Gettis=Murphy, LaFell=Schilens, etc...)

Plus I'll take DeAngelo/Stewart/Goodson > DMC/Bush/Bennett
