Megatron, your theory means nothing. Explain to me how it's the person behind the sticks that matters over the team if I can USE THE EXACT SAME SCHEME (playcalling remains the same offensively and defensively) and the intangibles go different with the Raiders....

Huff holds onto more picks than Reed. Thomas Howard plays like Ray Lewis on Brian Urlacher's roids....Stanford Routt and Chris Johnson are CLEARLY better than half the 90 OVR corners in the game (Asante, Finnegan, Greer, Mathis, Flowers, equal to Hall and Joseph).

The play setups remains the same...but the Raiders unexplicably hold onto more picks, shed more blocks, etc...

I mean, you'd think my 3-4/4-6 hybrid would work wonders with the Steelers. It doesn't. I'm just focusing on D here. But Huff in like 5 games since I've gone to the Raiders, has AT LEAST 5 user pick 6s...I user Polamalu at FS with the Steelers...and i don't think he has a single INT in my 16 game C4 season....and there is something wrong when Quentin Groves at 4-6 DE tears up more LTs than James Harrison....

The Raiders just play better...always have...unexplicably....But you keep telling me that its the player that matters when I'm using the same plays to get pressure with the Raiders as I do the Steelers....and when I get the pressure with the Steelers, I'm dropping picks with the best D player in the NFL....while Michael Huff has already cribbed 5 picks...and Howard 2 or 3 more...in five games....same plays....

dude I been using the EXACT SAME SCHEME for everyteam..giants, bengals, titans, panthers, colts, chargers........ dont give me that boloney.

I dont know bout huff catching better then reed, howard playin like lewis......yada....we all know speed CAN make an average corner look amazing but when u line up Chris johnson against a slow cow like boldin, explain why that boldin will get open MORE TIMES THEN NOT...

Route running, man coverage rating, zone coverage rating....thats why pitt secondary sucks..smh... speed doesnt matter as much as those well then atleast u wont get burnt...

and no quientin groves doesnt even come close to harrison...thats like saying groves is better then ware...

agree 110%! well, i mean, i would never become a tourney player, so using the raiders isn't a big deal. i play random unranked games and use the packers no matter what. i also am part of c4 and will play with whatever team i get. well, i always put the bears, vikings, and lions at the bottom of the list because i'd rather punch a kitten then be forced to play with the 3 teams i grew up despising!!

IMO to win on this game consistenly you need an X factor: Chris Johnson, the Raiders d, and Vick. Why? Chris Johnson in a tight game can break 2 tackles and take it to the house, the raiders you think you have a step on someone they undercut the route, and Vick you call the perfect Defense and somehow he finds a way to beat it either with his legs or his arm you have to make 2 def stops to get one. Otherwise i would love to use GB, Pitt, Ravens or the Giants. When i play someone online if they pick Dal i chose the Raiders, I they take the Raides i chose the boys, If they pick vick i use the raiders or the boys, and if they choose anyone else i use a not so popular team that fits my scheme..

every game i played lately was against the raiders...

but it just makes it that much more satisfying when i beat them with tampa

I hear you're d@mn good at madden, but I can see that you're not so good in the reading comprehension category. All I've done lately is bicker about how this game played. I was never "BAD" at it. I knew how to defend stick...but why should I be forced to defend it that way when EA should get it right the first time. I've always had D that puts players in position on slant outs, despite them being bounced off an invisible wall...the irresponsive user click on and control only allows u to make a swat 55% tops...So you can see why people who throw 40 slant outs prosper...2 slant outs and a route that must be usered underneath is all it takes...That's stupid....That's all I've EVER said....Keep putting words in my mouth and not reading responses though, buddy.

While this game caters to the smallbrained, I refuse to run stick/bench switch/draw/strong close....I'm just not taking knives to gunfights anymore in the team selection department...So I'm taking the Raiders...like everyone else....Sure, I'll still be running my stuff and I will hardly EVER result to a flanker slant out...and I'm still going to compete using reads rather than face throws...

@Megatron, think what you will. I actually AGREE with you. None of the players I mentioned are actually better than the players I'm comparing them with. I'm very knowledgeable about football so I don't need 1200 people saying Ware is better than Groves. Duh. I'm saying that this video game is so small brained that guys like Harrison (great overalls) don't play WAY better than guys like Groves/Howard...though they SHOULD....maybe that's why Oakland is good...Speed is all that matters...sadly

If you are playing for money or in a tourney then I understand using the raiders but I get sick of seeing the raiders every other game. I respect the players that make a stand and play with the team they root for on Sundays, it's just a game that were suppose to have fun playing. I can't imagine using anyone but my bears win loose or draw.

Ford: 98 speed, 96 agi, 97 acc

Why does Ford play LIGHT YEARS faster than AP. He's technically less agile than AP by you're theory...and only 1 speed faster, with equal acceleration.

AP is 4 inches taller than Ford....longer strides...despite weighing more...

And wouldn't we argue that the fastest runners in the world (Usain Bolt) are taller with longer strides?

I agree. Bring back form shifts. They were the reason I hated Madden back on PS2...but I'll live with them as long as they bring some uniqueness to this d@mn game.

i would rather ea just make every playbook unique....I want something special in ATL that isnt in any book. I want a quads formation in pitt, i want shovel passes in phi....and so on. every team in the nfl does SOMETHING unique....its ea job to bring that to the light. then people will have 32 options instead of like 8

And even those 8 are essentially all the same and just a way for everyone to say "I'm not running ________ book"

Ford is not "light years" faster... I guess 1 point makes the difference.......if u want to test whatever theory I used then compare ford to hester

hester is 5'11 98 speed 99 aceleration 99 agi

ford is 5'7 ish 98 speed 97 acc 95 agile

same speed...hester weighs more and is taller then ford... and more acel...if ur correct then ford will be "light years" ahead of hester

I think the best way to do it would be to take the D off the field, throw a pass to Ford, start him at the goaline, and stop watch it down to the other end....same with Hester....

I'm going to bet Ford beats Hester's time....just a feeling....used both players (A LOT) and I just feel like Ford moves better...

And Ford does feel LIGHT YEARS faster than AP....AP doesn't even feel close to 97 speed....He doesn't look it IRL, either...But that's on Donnie Moore, not anyone else

a better way would be to take the D off the field (also trade the players so they are on the same team) put both players on streaks (make sure both are lined up off the LOS or lined on the LOS) and snap. U should get 50 yds of them running no interruptions
