Someone posted the information on Tom Brady's college career earlier here.
The real reason as to why TB12 has succeeded in the Pros? Work ethic. Think of what SGibs preaches with GaryVee. Hustle Harder.
The previous blurp said Brady was 7th on the depth chart. He had to fight and claw to work his way up the depth chart. He had a solid year, and then chose to stay in college to get better because he wasnt ready for the Pros. He had to compete with Brian Griese. He had to compete with Drew Henson. He battled and worked hard and got the job and entered the Pros ready.
Take a guy like Vince Young, his whole career he was praised and the poster boy and extremely successful. Partially because of his skill, partially because of the team around him. Either way, he was always 'the man.' Maybe if he had had struggles in his amateur career he would have been working harder and been a better NFL qb, but so far the jury is out on him, and VY is not a reliable NFL QB now, and he doesn't know how to deal with the adversity since all of the success is gone, guy doesnt know how to work hard for it.
Whereas, a guy like Brady spent his whole amateur career battling and competing with guys who were to go on and be more successful and would be better than he was. Well, Brady clearly has had better NFL careers than Drew Henson, Brian Griese, and Vince Young even thought they may have had better collegiate careers
