| Ok MB, what do you think--- Is it more important to be original when formulating offensive & defensive schemes? Or is it better to play it safe & adopt the "if you cant beat'em,join'em" mantra.Tell me your opinion on this... | |

| ORIGINALITY.
I'll admit, right now. I'm in a super popular formation...but I'm (trying) to add my own flavor to it rather than run the typical plays...That way, I can mix in the popular stuff and catch my opponent off guard...
Played a well known tourney player last night and he ran tight doubles in a way I'd never seen run (WITH THE BILLS) and scored quite a few points that way....His D screamed with Buffalo, too.
Played Chad too....He knows I'm on this in/out route binge right now...and he can attest that making your own man/zone beaters makes you a lot harder to stop than if you just run bench switch every down... | |

| Be a SHEEP and the Execute. People are running the best stuff, just run it better than them. Execute. | |

| Do both, people put tips out for a reason. Honestly, their way might be the best way to run a scheme but it is important to make that scheme fit your play style otherwise you will be out of your element and copying will make you a worse player even though it is a dynamic scheme. | |

| Nah....nothing is harder to stop than something you come up with and only YOU (or your close circle) understands WHY it works... | |

| i think everyone should have 1 or 2 lab buddies that are on a similar skill level (not talking about ranked gm lvl) where they can give advice on different set ups, but never really tell the whole set up. They dont have to run the same o or d but you learn concepts that can be used with many pbs. I think running the same o or d is fine if your lab buddies, but you always have to have your own spin on it. | |

| i try to make all my plays and formation imposssible to defend man or zone run plays everything . b original i dont know anyone who uses shotty 2 back like i do or used spread liek i do use 5 wide like i do iform like me.. use a formation that u feel will exploit there D and beat it for yards
i cant stand kids who copycat i mean absolute robots liek make the same adjustments every single play liek that kinda stuff thats why when u ask me the setups i will never tell u because there usually different each time around on defense as well i i hate those kids that are liek i saw that on a site yeah but i dnt use it like they do its jus knowledge and concepts other wise everybody on this site does this than lol
but yeah find a formation learn everything u could about it and use it to ur advantage
now create a scheme with all ur formations
