| so today was the 3rd round of the gamestop tournament, and here in the New England region, SGibs was attending and competing.
He did well, making it all the way to the finals... one victory away from the trip to arizona to play for $5,000, however he lost in the finals.
like two weeks ago in the 2nd round, i went along side him and filmed the event. it was a little disappointing having him reach the finals only to lose, however it was a very good showing, and three of the final four players were representing EAFL, which goes to show you the quality of player in the league.
there will be more to come off of this, this is just a quick update of what happened. there should be a video released sometime soon with the highlights of the event. | |

| Hey sgibs the kid was like 15 and from Lynn right cuz I know him. He goes to my school lol. He texted me and told me.

| badly...38-7.
sgibs had vince young fumble on him twice, along with another fumble by lendale white, and sgibs is bad at button pressing battles and he lost all three of them. the other kid had two acrobatic pick 6 returns where there were several shed tackles.
i mean, despite all of this, the other kid scored on all but one of his possessions and played solid on both offense and defense... so no disrespect to the other kid, but he caught a lot of breaks. oh well, it would have been nice for sgibs to win the trip to arizona though... | |

you did a nice job containing the draw.
however that clown shoes new "ref" screwedddd me. First time I run the draw..."call a timeout" I told him no and continued playing lol. Then he said dont do it again or else its over. Then he decides in the second half that I can do it...only every other play.
that compeltely screwed me.
I actualyl saw the "refs" switchign shifts. Before the tournament I went upt ot eh head guy and told him what I was going to do. He said it was legal, then this new guy comes in for the chip game. and he decides to just change the d@mn rules. Then change them AGAIN mid game. lol
