| Alright, i know what ya'll are saying, the browns suck, truth be told; in actuallity the browns are TOP 3 in zone defense in the entire game.behind the giants and the packers.now, the reason they are deadly is because of how i set up the roster, i dont care what team you have in madden if you sit down in deep thought analyze depth charts, players strengths and weaknesses, then you will can create magic with ANY team. anyway i want to share some stats with you. you see, i just got finished like 10 minutes ago playing a guy whos record was 117-48, he was a level 11.he picked the steelers, but check out these stats
Colt McCoy pass rating: 132.2, 23 comp, 39 att, 499 yards (me) Ben Roethlisberger pass rating: 57.5, 17 comp, 35 att, 298 yards
peyton hillis: 9 att, 82 yards rushing, 2 TD. rashard mendenhall: 4 att, 16 yards rushing, 0 TD
RECIEVING:
Benjamin Watson: 9 rec 202 yards 2 TD Mohamed Massaquoi: 6 rec 146 yards, 3 TD Josh Cribbs: 3 rec 85 yards 1 TD Brian Robiskie:2 rec 15 yards 0 TD Peyton Hillis: 2 rec 46 yards 0 TD Chansi Stuckey: 1 rec 5 yards 0 TD
Antwan Randle El: 5 rec 74 yards 1 TD Heath Miller: 5 rec 74 yards 0 TD Rashard Mendenhall: 2 rec 18 0 TD Emmanuel Sanders: 2 rec 91 yards 1 TD Mewelde Moore:2 rec 33 yards 0 TD Matt Spaeth: 1 rec 8 yards 0 TD
DEFENSIVE: Scott Fujita: 1 INT D'Qwell Jackson: 1 INT T.J. Ward: 1 INT David Bowens: 1 INT Joe Haden: 1 INT Sheldon Brown: 1 INT Eric Wright: 1 INT
Lamar Woodley: 1 INT
Bottom line is guys, the borwns secondary are ball hawks, and their line is underestimated, this is the sleeper team in my opinion.i mean this guy started out running and then when i was up by 20 he opted to pass the majority of the game and i got 7 picks. i used a lot of zone and i call my style of defense a bear trap type of defense.i set guys up in zone mixed with pressure and deception, and its lights out! what do you guys think? oh and by the way the final score was 56 to 14!!!!

| Sounds... intriguing. Mind sharing your depth chart with us?
Props to you for getting it done with a difficult team to use.

| OK, i stay with the 3-4 with this team and it fits of course seeing as how the browns have a lotta fat on their line and they are just too slow for the 4-3,Alright here's my offense and defense:
QB McCoy 74 spd, 80 THP, 88 SAC, 85 MAC, 86 throw on the run Wallace the 84 speed combined with 84 throwing on the run comes in handy sometimes
HB Peyton Hillis aka Tha Violator (need i say more? this man makes tackles feel like mosqutioe bites) you can chose from either mike bell or montario hardesty for your backups, i use bell, peyton hillis rarely gets injured in the game.
FB Lawrence Vickers
WR- Josh Cribbs Brian Robiskie Mohamed Massaquoi (his beat press is the best out of the recievers) Chansi Stuckey Carlton Mitchell( im thinking of putting him as the 4th reciever because his height is 6'4, he has 90 speed, but average CIT (78)
TE Benjamin Watson-this guy is the key for me in games
DEFENSE:
LE-Robaire Smith: 85 TAK, 86 STR, 81 AWR K. Coleman- (i might switch this guy for smith because offensive linemen be ownin smith at times)
RE-Matt Roth OVR 93 at DE, 86 STR, 74 AGI (very important because he has the strength and agility to get around an offensive lineman) 85 ACC, 86 AWR, 90 TAK,94 PMV, 90 BSH, and 85 PUR.
DT-Shaun Rogers- this guy is a stud (92 TAK, 97 PMV, 98 BSH, 80 hitpower, 98 STR, 86 AWR)
LOLB-Scott Fujita 80 OVR, 77 SPD, 84 ACC, 75 STR, 88 AWR,87 TAK, 84 hitpower, 95 PUR, 92 PRC, 64 ZCV (this is good for a LB)
MLB 1 -D'qwell Jackson-90 BSH, 95 PUR, 90 PRC, 97 TAK,84 AWR MLB 2- Kaluka Maiava (hidden gem)- 80 SPD, 83 AGI, 85 ACC, 81 TAK,87 PUR, 82 PRC, 64 MCV, and 68 ZCV.
ROLB-David Bowens-84 BSH, 86 PUR, 83 PWMV, 84 TAK, 88 AWR. (he's a sleeper)
CB 1-Sheldon Brown- 88 speed, 93 ACC, 87 AWR, 67 CTH,85 JMP, 87 PRC, 85 MCV, 90 ZCV, 81 PRS.
CB2- Joe Haden- 90 speed, 97 ACC, 76 CTH, 92 MCV, 88 ZCV, 91 PRS
CB3-Coye Francies- 80 ZCV, 91 PRS
CB4- Mike Adams-78 ZCV, 87 SPD
FS- Eric Wright- 89 SPD, 90 JMP, 83 MCV, 87 ZCV
SS-TJ Ward- 82 ZCV,88 PUR, 93 Hitpower, 79 TAK, 87 JMP, 65 CTH, 85 SPD
So fellas, there you have it, this is the browns roster i use that ive been winning with lately.

| Good Job Yngclassic This a great example that shows u dont need the raiders to win games. Its how u utilize ur teams strenght. I also thought the browns were a decent team, great run defense and pretty good cbs. Oline is halfway good, qb is accurate with scramble ability.. power runback (but low carry)... not so stellar receivers but it is doable. | |

i highly agree! all you have to do is take time to see what your defenders strengths and weakness (i.e. mcv, zcv etc.) are, then based upon the "type" of defense you wanna run (man or zone or a mixture of both) you can move them around to develop a top-notch defense.
i do that with the Ravens constantly!

| good job man , i just joined a league and drew the BUCs ewwww, i mean j. johnsons got some wheels as a scramble (not really my style) but the WR's jeeez they are S L O W!!! and i honestly dont even wanna put ronde barber on the field! guy gets burn in his wheelchair, should be @ the retirement home!
its great taking a usual sub par team and working them to your advantage, my thing with your stats vs your opp. i wouldnt attribute it so much to the browns actual roster but rather you SKILL as a player, you know how to put the pieces together and make them fit. honestly IMO i think you were just a better player and played a better game than your opp??
what are your thoughts ?, i mean its not really the point of the thread but your scheme/reads/calls and stick skill were prob just much better than his??
regardless keep up the good work! and if any1 has any tips working the BUCS(chad HELP!!!) im all ears!

I just picked the Bucs up in a league also, so to get a feel for them I played my buddy who brought out Dallas, I destroyed him using the Run and Gun book, Freeman was hitting passes, scrambling for big yards when needed, Blount was a beast, I had Ronde at FS and G Hayes at LE, there is speed in LB core and the 88 speed WRs were bringing in passes

| I rock the browns in a sim league (11-1) and in a freestyle league (3-6 ). I use seneca all day every day. He has a pretty strong arm so the short passes can get there quick. He struggles on deeper throws but if your style fits a quick passing scheme then the browns can definitely be twerked. His speed is sick if you like a mobile QB so sneaky scramble plays can piss opponents off. Power runs with hillis (dont pitch) and you will get 5 yards a carry. They are a fun team to play with especially when you know they will take you lightly because you took the brownies. CHALLENGE YO SELF! | |

| @king_jason2, i think youre right, now in madden im humble, i know there are plenty of guys on this website who would destroy me, i did pay close attention to the guys plays and tendacies, i knew if i could play chess and win, it was game over, i must admit seeing a guy with that kind of record had me shook because of the caliber team and recent updates of the steelers.but this game gave me confindence, i like playing with below average teams because it makes me work hard and force me to think.those stats were insane! lol, thanks for the comment man! @MB Community, thanks guys for the props and love, it felt really good to truimph an A-list team with the browns. appreciate it.it means a lot coming from top notch madden players like yourselves! | |

Ronde has 91 zone, so he'll play the **** outta his Deep blue, and ive never been burned in the slot while Barber is there... he also has 99 play recognition, so he makes plays on passes near him.
