racist people online in madden

ok, fellas now its sad when you beat someone in madden because u dominated that person in every aspect of the game and they quit.and when i send them a message telling them good game man, they respond by calling me the n word and a slave.thats not cool, im shocked that guys would even take it there, and call me names, im a black guy and i dont EVER discrimnate against others, i enjoy the game of madden and for guys to call me out my name in that manner, thats harsh and disrespectful.its sad in my opinion, tonite i was called a n@#$% 3 times, even had one guy turn his mic on and statred saying every racial slur he could think of.what has the world come to?

just got to block it out man...its sad that we have to but its the truth.
I remember my first day ever with XBL. I got it on my 13th birthday for my Original XBOX. I fired up COD3 and i was shocked....I didnt even want to play anymore.

Madden is better as far a racism is concerned but even saying that is bad. It shouldnt even happen. But at least there is a mute. But it still dnt help. after they say it once it still effects you

It happens a lot. I posted a video of me beating "I_AM_DELTASAUCE." He messaged me later calling me cheap and saying I was a stupid n word. It's pretty pathetic someone would even say that.. and I have no idea why he would think I am black anyway.. There are a LOT of racists on PSN.

I dont even know if half the people that say that stuff are actually racist, they're just too ignorant to come up with some sort of intelligent shot at you while they're pissed off that you won so they resort to something as crude as they can and hope it gets on your nerves. At least thats what its seemed like to me.

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I don't think they are racist in real life, but they really just want to piss you off.

You are exactly right. Some people take the game so seriously that they want to share their misery about losing. Just shrug it off and let them stew in there own misery. I had a guy quit - I messaged him good game. He voice messaged me back about how I was an A-hole and I glitched him, that the game was what it was and that he hopes I was proud of myself. But I will admit it does really grind my gears when some guy who sounds like he cant speak english and doesnt even have a first grade education gets on the mic and starts talking trash when im smashing him.. More times than not it is a black person, but i never call them a N.. I just talk to them how I would talk to anyone else that would sound like that, black or white

iam also black and everone calls me the n word and say i need to pick cotoon and this and that and say there going to shi# on my face and just other crap. its disrespectful and inapropriate

Yea I have a lot of black friends, probably close to half my friends are black.. I was just pointing out most of the people who come at me on xbox live that sound like idiots turn out to be black, not saying I have anything against black people who act respectable at all

Madden brings out the worst in some people! we all love the game, and we all want to win...but no need to belittle no one over it.... i get the same thing on ps3... i just ignore it and move on to the next...

its frustration talking when they do it, they want you to feel there pain or frustration...

from exp it's alot worse on 360 where everyone has mics fire up halo you'll hear the comments

I agree, its ridiculous but it goes both ways actually. I don't know how many racial slurs I've heard after beating somebody its stupid for anybody to stoop that low, at the end of the day its just a game. You never know that person on the other end that just whooped you might be able to show you something that can help your game. I know I help everybody that i play unless they disrespect me with the whole race thing. That's why I try to stick to playing people I know and people off here though!

i am a black man and proud of it! and...i get the "n" word tossed at me when i am blasting cats from time to time as well. guess my online black man avatar wearing a Ravens jersey gives my skin color away to those viewing my profile...lol!

seriously though, racism is ignorance. why? there is only ONE race...THE HUMAN! and this ONE race has a variety of NATIONALITIES in it such as; blacks, whites, asians, orientals and hispanics etc.

whenever cats "try" to get under my skin by bringing up the "n" word or anything else derrogatory online...i just reply by saying.... "oh...here is where i am suppose to be pissed off at a cat i can't see or who can't see me now.....right?" then i add... "really?" on the end of it! i never hear from them again! lol!
