I put this up a while ago. Here's what I think Madden 12 needs...

1) Add animations for defenders and blockers to win/lose exchanges and add a system to figure out how often it happens. It will still come down to a dice roll, but we don't want Darrell Sproles upending Albert Haynesworth - ever - so it will need to be tempered by ratings. I especially want this aspect added because it will allow size and strength to matter more. A good offensive lineman should never dance with a CB when he goes to block him. He should knock him on his keister and go find who's next.

2) Add a break down button for user defenders and allow for increased agility over a small area to enter into a tackling animation with options for both the defender and runner to have. Defenders should be able to wrap legs, go high, tackle aggressively forward, ride the ballcarrier down, or ride them to a side. Offensive players should be able to jump, buck, spin, or just fight forward for extra yards.

3) There should be a way to temper the exchange between receiver and defender for when the defender turns to run. Better defenders should be better at gauging how close they allow the receiver to get before turning and running - and better route runners should be better at getting the defenders to mess it up.

4) Stop tempering the playbooks!!! Every playbook shouldn't be the same give or take a few plays and sets, but that's what we get every year. I see tons of plays and formations in real football that never see Madden. Go all out and let us, the players, express ourselves on the video gridiron.

but it was pretty much what zan said, Contain blitz's some a gap/b gap heat... but all in all, i had a blast..

every1 had their own twist on their plays... nothing was str8 stock contain blitz

i like the zone playing the WRs route instead of strictly their assignment...

i do as well , but it will bite some ppl in the a$$ who arent used to defending with zone...
